Review from the other side of a deal this agency is currently working. I am the seller of a property that this agency is representing the buyer. The property has been under contract since May 4th, and still has not closed. I was given a 27 day closing date which would have been May 31, days before the title co was still looking for information about the property, the Agent Amy does not appear to want to communicate any sort of update, refuses to answer the phone and only responds in text messages. Extremely unprofessional in the responses that she did give to my agent.
The buyer ended up needing to change finance companies which took Amy several days to complete, the new finance company required documentation which to this date they still have not received. My agent has gone above and beyond what she should have had to do, she has had to call the Finance Company to find out what was still needed, the buyers lawyer, and the location where the documentation was supposed to be coming from. My agent attempted to give Amy what was needed, very simple and the transaction would have been completed within days, that was at the end of June.
Since the end of June I have had to extend the contract several times, there has been little to no communication from Amy. I have told my agent who relayed to Amy that if this transaction does not close by the end of this month, that I would be forced to put the property back on the market, the current buyer will lose the property. If the current buyer wants to continue with the transaction she will need to find a new agency to work with, Meservier & Associates really does not appear to want to make buyers dreams happen. I for sure if I ever buy property in Maine again I will NOT use this agency.

Update: My agent has tried to work with Amy, Amy refuses to answer her phone or text in a timely manner. I hope that Amy enjoys not being paid. She has done nothing for this buyer to advance the sale. In the end it is the buyer that is losing. I hope that when she finds another property to purchase, she has an agent that will actually do the work.
