If I could’ve given zero stars, I absolutely would have. We chose to transfer from Nationwide to mercury insurance in an attempt to lower our payment. A little bit. We gave them all of our information, including all of the drivers license numbers that were necessary and explained any accidents that were on our record.

They assured us that we would be able to get coverage and not even six months in, and they’re threatening to drop the entire policy if we don’t remove one person from an accident three years ago. An accident that we fully disclosed, and they assured us would not affect our coverage.

There are no available options aside from either removing that person or they’re canceling our entire policy.

Such a waste of time and horrible service. We were assured and promised so many times that we would be covered and then a couple months and they’re already dropping someone or else we lose all of our coverage.

When we called, they couldn’t even explain to us why it had changed, and somehow that person still has to remain on the policy as an excluded driver since they still live at home. So no coverage, but we still have to pay for them to be on our policy. Just an absolute waste of time, such a hassle that now we have to go back to nationwide.

I would highly suggest you find somewhere else to take your business.

Very disappointed, we started a policy, we did explain every accident that we have in the past five years and who is at fault we were very clear with all of it, and they assured us that we were still able to be covered. They assured us over and over again that it was not an issue with that we could still have full coverage for all four people in the family.

So we agreed and we started our policy, now two months in, We’re being told that if we don’t drop one person that the rest of us will be dropped. We asked why, and they said it was from an accident three years ago that we already disclosed, and they saw already on the drivers license record before we even signed up with them.

To make it all worse, we still have to pay to have that person on our insurance because they live in the home, however they’re not insured or covered to drive any of the vehicles including their own vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s so frustrating and such a waste of time now we have to go back to our previous insurance agency.

It was really disappointing, especially after spending so much time going over all the records and making absolutely certain that everything was going to be OK and being assured so many times.

I would recommend checking out a different agency and trying to avoid this company altogether.
