Expensive, Horrible Experience

I was given a "great rate" on an auto policy, which convinced me to transfer to State Farm. A week after paying the premium, I found out the true premium was about 33% more. Which was more than the policy I was leaving. So both vehicles were not covered.

I believe the agent deliberately quoted a lower premium to get our business.

Since State Farm didn't receive a full premium from us, they reported to the DMV that we had a lapse in insurance coverage of $50 per vehicle on the policy.

Because of this, we now will have higher premiums because it shows that we had two days without insurance.

We went back to our previous insurance.

This was a horrible and expensive mistake contacting this agent's office.
