We found ourselves willed a lovely house under a reversed mortgage. We didn't know how to get out of it. Scott Lawson with America's Home Loans was really friendly and knowledgable, and simply explained all the different aspects of the process to us. He showed us how the inheritance works under leans and reverse mortgages in great detail. He answered all the questions we had about putting the property in our name and completely handled the process of applying for the home loan and getting it approved to buy out the debt. He handled the entire process of paying out the reverse mortgage with little to no effort on our part. Scott gave us the heads up when buying out the reverse mortgage for a decent rate which was better than the deal we would've taken by someone else. He was readily available to meet with us the whole time and helped with the loan process at every step. I am very appreciative of my mortgage broker, Scott Lawson. He quickly got me prequalified for my first home purchase. He was very attentive and supportive. He quickly recognized that I was very nervous about , what to me , was a huge purchase and commitment! Scott ALWAYS answers his phone, keeps things moving fast and is completely on top of it! Scott & Jason are quite the duo! They took a difficult situation and made it look easy. I had a client needing a 21 day close on a home while in this aggressive market. If you are looking for a mortgage broker, look no further. Jason Morales is by far, the best mortgage broker that we have worked with! He was able to get the loan from beginning to close of escrow within a week!! He was amazing!! He went above and beyond to get the loan closed in a very short timeframe. Jason was also able to get a lower interest rate than any other mortgage broker when interest rates were up as high as 6%. We have worked with many mortgage brokers and Jason has been outstanding in every aspect of the loan process.
