If you want an agent who is a honey Badger Maria is for you. As a seller, for whom she was the buyers agent her petifogging was tedious. She requested a showing at 2:30 am, she is on the job 24/7! She accused my agent of not properly disclosing an item that after he had her read the disclosure to him realized her error. I had had the radon tested and a system installed before the property was listed, this agent required me to re-test. I found this to be unusual and unethical. Sometimes her expectations were overwhelming. This is not the first property exchange I have been a party to, but in the rear view mirror if I had known then what I know now I would have said thank you next. The first sentence of the realtor code of ethics is employ the golden rule. To sum it up, if you are a seller RUN AWAY! For example, she asked me to purchase a warranty, not unreasonable, to which I agreed. Then they pestered me for copies of warranties for things like the roof, which made no difference since the roofing warranty was not transferable. The roof in question was only 4 years old. Are the windows tempered glass? Google it! Are yours?
