From the moment I arrived at LensCrafters and greeted by Jennafer so enthusiastically I knew my experience was going to exceed my expectations. And Dr. Lani May A. Centeno was Incredibly upbeat as she provided an examination that was informative and one in which she took her time to make sure I left with the correct prescription. I left very satisfied and there’s no doubt this is my new vision place to go. Additionally, Jennafer Was extremely helpful with eyeglass selection and the process to ensuring they were going to work well for my purposes. She also adjusted my glasses that I didn’t even buy at LensCrafters, which I appreciate appreciated very much. Truly, Jennafer understands the hospitality industry and it’s clearly in her DNA.

A couple of days ago I was able to get a same day appointment for my vision examination for glasses at the Lens Crafters at the De Monte Center. A nice pleasant experience there, as all the staff members were nice, knowledgeable and patient. I received a discount for my 2 pairs of glasses and also a referral for my future vision care. I walked into the LensCrafters in Del Monte Plaza, Monterey with a pair of my favorite (prescription) glasses. One of the nose pieces had come off and I had the piece, but no screw to fix it.
Lovely, professional Jennafer took the glasses, finished up with her client and returned minutes later with my glasses fixed. Cleaned and as good as new.
She wouldn’t charge me anything and gifted me with the rare moment of random kindness.

Stopped in without calling first with a broken nose piece on my glasses. Not only fixed within 10 minutes, but at no charge. Excellent service!

My wife and I have purchased many glasses from Lens Crafters over twenty years and the first time I had a defect with a frame they did absolutely nothing to correct the problem. No effort whatsoever to keep a loyal customer happy other than refer me to the manager who was never on site.

I had my lenses replaced under warranty. I paid the deductible and left them for repair. When the glasses were ready for pick up, my wife drove into town to pick them up as I run a business out of town and for me to go in I have to close my business costing in the thousands.When I opened the cleaning bag I found the technician had broken the frame and attempted to glue it back without mentioning he broke them. Who would employ a dishonest person like that. Initially lense crafters was very difficult about ordering a replacement pair but the manager Lega finally agreed to order a pair (after arguing over the phone with me). When they were ready for pick up, I called and let them know I would be in at 4:45 (Friday the 6th) to pick them up but the person that answered the phone (Carolyn) refused to release the replacement pair because “Lega” had to be there and she wouldn’t return until the next day. I will have to close my business to drive into
Monterey (I live out of town) to pick them up costing me more than 5 times the cost of the glasses. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. They’re nice to take your money but beware if you have a warranty or problem. I had spent over $4500.00 with this store within the last year. Never again. Remember, they broke my glasses.

Interesting how they post 5 new 5 star ratings within an hour (relating to Ashley) the day after my review to increase their overall rating. Just another fact on how dishonest they are.

Terrible place. My daughter liked a certain pair of sunglasses. I gave her my CC and they sold her the display pair!? Really!? My daughter came to meet me at the door with no box just the sunglasses and receipt. I told her let’s go back inside. I requested new sunglasses not the display ones and the ladies behind the counter all said that this is normal practice and they don’t have new in the box glasses. I’ll take my money elsewhere next time. If it weren’t for my daughter really liking those pair I would have returned it! Don’t waste your time here!

Wow, where do I start. The place looks amazing. I was greeted right away when I came in
The nice associate took care of my issue. The arm on my glasses was wobbling . She determined the screw was too small. She was friendly and helpful and fixed my glasses in 5 minutes. No charge. I highly recommend coming here for any eye glass needs.
