The Legacy tax team has been doing my taxes since 2004. Every year, the team has demonstrated excellent service, technical expertise, and responsiveness. This year (2022) was no different. Stephan and the team were able to prioritize my tax return to be done earlier, since I had to go out of town close to the tax deadline. They got it done and handled the complications of my stock transactions and Medicare tax accounting very well.

New this year is their documentation uploading system. It was very easy to use. Legacy tax makes it easy, and always improving from their excellence.

I first talked to Stephan Brewer on a Sunday. I was in bad shape.financially. I was surprised that a Attorney was willing to hear about my problems because I already told him I had zero cash. Stephan is an amazing CPA, he has a good understanding of our business and work with us to prepare our Annual Financial Statements and Corporate Tax Returns as well as my personal tax returns each year. Stephan and his group of professionals at Legacy are a superior organization. I had been battling a, what seemed to be, unsolvable tax issue for 12 years. I seemed to be in a vortex of do nothing. In the beginning my CPA had referred me to quote "a very prominent" tax attorney. All he did was drag me up the appeals process until I was unable to afford his $450 per hour, and there I sat. All had wanted in the beginning some 12+ years ago was a plan to repay. I had given up, resigned that I would live on a basis of little credit and the prospects to drive my business forward to great success was gone. On a whim, I saw one of Legacy's social media ads, saw that they were local and decided to call. What did I have to lose? After review of my situation which included my ex-wife, Stephan thought there was hope. So Stephan, and my awesome and patient point of contact, Julie Cole, put together the package along with my ex-wife for her side. I remember breaking down in a parking lot when Julie called and said they have worked out an offer. An offer I could not have ever believed would come to pass. They also settled my ex's side and now life has been restored to me financially as well as giving me peace of mind.
Legacy did not stop with the signing of the settlement. Julie continued to follow up with a few minor errors that the IRS had with the settlement and continued to keep me apprised until all were resolved. Like many transactions, there are twists and turns with the IRS, but Legacy know how to professionally navigate through and bring success.
