Shelly has done my annual taxes for the past 3 year and I have been very pleased. She helped to settle some tax issues. I have found her tax prep pricing and time to do my taxes reasonable. When I moved to a different state, she did my taxes for that too and gave me resource numbers to contact, which was helpful. She has always been kind, up-front, ethical and honest with me. Shelly has been handling my business and personal accounting and taxes for 6 years. I have been referring my family members, friends, and clients to Shelly for years now for the their individual and business needs. I rarely do reviews, however I am continually impressed with her knowledge and professional courtesy.
This year I was behind on assembling my paperwork during tax season, I reached out to Shelly on April 15th, only to find out that she had ALREADY filed my very first extension. On my behalf without me even having to ask.

Shelly has been our accountant in our family for years now, and honestly she has done an amazing job! I always recommend her to my friends and family. She actually listens to us, and always tries to make sure everything is done correctly! She has always been the most helpful!

Please do not hire this individual to do anything related for your business. We hired Shelly Lands to process our payroll. She had stated that it would cost us $75 for payroll which would also include quarterly and yearly reports. We agreed. Well, she would reach out with these random "additional" prices for her to do our work. When confronted to further explain where these additional charges are coming from, she proceeded to say, "Your $75 is not worth it for all the stress." She suggested we go elsewhere for payroll processing. Well, Shelly if you can't explain why you are charging your customers MORE THEN WHAT YOU SAID AND WE AGREED ON then you shouldn't be in business. Not only this, we wanted to convert our business from a foreign LLC to a domestic LLC. We paid her $150 to do this, NCSOS $125 only to get a letter in the mail saying everything has been declined because she didn't properly submit the paper work and there was another document that needed to be submitted along with the L-01A form. We ended up filing this ourselves with no problems. She is still yet to return our money for her lack of professionalism. She also filed our taxes, thank goodness we weren't getting anything back this year because she placed our old business address on the documents she submitted to the IRS, did not use my married last name and blamed everything on someone else instead of herself. Lastly, SHE GOOGLE SEARCHES EVERYTHING AND OR LOOKS THINGS UP ALL THE TIME. Ask her a question, any question, and this women has to get up and search it. She wants more work and will ask you for more work, like doing your book keeping, but she can't keep up with the simplest things!!! Take your business elsewhere, she is not worth the money. Go to an accountant that can handle your business professionally even if you have to pay a little more for them!

I just want to say that i am very hurt that someone would post something bad about me and my business .
I have always been honest and diligent.
Sometimes I do ask clients to go to another accountant.
