(I was hoping for more info and the lake and less about real estate. I wasn’t interested in a lake house tour…)

Guide was nice and handled the boat well. Price for a 1 hour boat ride was fair.

I seriously can not say enough about these wonderful people. Had an amazing time they were so sweet to my daughter! Savanah says hi! Our guide was hilarious and knowledgeable, sarcastic, which wasngreatly appreciated and made the trip 100% better. I am horrible with names.. so thank you to the sweet young lady who was so kind to my daughter. Thank you to the cashier, and is so nice. Thank you so much to our guide. You were the best kept me laughing! And it's so nice to meet one of Lake Lures' finest officers, nice before trip experience. Can't wait to come back. This is top-notch, especially in the fall. The most beautiful lake in NC hands down! Customer for life. Thank you for letting me take pics!

I had SO much fun & learned SO much about the lake and it's history. Mike was an awesome tour guide & captain! This was my second time, I wanted my family to experience it. They thoroughly enjoyed it! I can't wait to go to Lake Lure again, it's beautiful there!

This lake is absolutely gorgeous, our boat guide was great as well.
The tour was supposed to be an hour but it started raining so we went in about 20 minutes early which was kind of disappointing. I understand the reason why but other tour boats seem to be going out as we were coming in. The lack of online reservations is quite frustrating. A first come first serve type of deal is really hard to plan someone's day. I would 100% suggest trying to change your policies or the way you work with selling tickets for your tour. Other than that this was pretty great and relaxing

Was taking the scenic route up north on my way to a project and made an impulse decision to take a boat tour here. Glad I did. The office staff was first rate and scheduled my tour. A fleet of pontoon boats are used and all looked to be in excellent condition. The tours are about an hour and passengers will see everything from pristine forests, modest lake homes and even a few multimillion dollar mansions. The boat’s captain was a fountain of interesting information and fun trivia about Lake Lure. The tour is good enough to detour from your planned itinerary.

We had Mike for a guide. Excellent and very informative. I didn't realize how big the lake was or the history behind it. Very cool. Will do it again.

We had a great time. Beautiful scenery. Tour guide was entertaining. He lets the boys drive the boat and they loved it. I’d definitely do it again. Worth the small fee.

The staff was so nice, informative & easy going. The captain was great! This tour provides some of the most spectacular views I've ever seen! My mother & I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. I highly recommend this boat tour!
