We attempted to increase our policy coverage a minimal amount of $10,000.00 (it was the maximum they would allow) or seek another carrier for more coverage. Started with a personal visit on 2/10/2025 and after two weeks and no contact we called, and called and called at least 6 times with no response. Frustrated we then called the Gainesville office of King Insurance, no response. Yes, we had a four point inspection completed on 02/11/2025. it is now the end of April, time to renew our home owners policy and it will not be with King Insurance in Leesburg that is for sure. Do not waste your time. To bad the option to post isn't a zero. With other agents in the Leesburg area go to someone more responsive!!! Charlene Green was no help at all.

Contacted several times (Sept 24, Jan 25) to cancel car and home insurance after parents passed. Emailed all requested paperwork both times, followed up with email to get status and both times policy was not canceled. Customer service seems very poor.
Update: even though they responded to my review, the last policy cancellation for the house (same for the car and golf cart policies months earleir) cancelled because the renewal was not paid, not because they cancelled them.

Since Tina left the company your service has been going downhill. She was my go to person and was very knowledgeable, professional and reactive! Now when I call , your team seems they're still figuring out, promise to call back but never do and your prices are NOT competitive at ALL. I'll be moving my properties insurance business to a different place. Best of luck

Tina left me high and dry when she left-she never even sent me a copy of the policy she placed for me.

Charlene Green stepped in and helped me when the current insurance company terminated me over my roof-EVEN THOUGH I was under contract to have a new one put on.

She was there every step of the way and dealt my my craziness and calmed me down. She was able to place my insurance cheaper and quicker than any of the big name companies. I cannot thank her and King Insurance enough!!

Horrible experience!! We tried to cancel our insurance policy but the agent we went through never filed the paperwork so I called the Gainesville office to get some answers they transferred me to the manager of the Leesburg office but she basically told me they really don't do cancellations there... (?) ...and that she couldn't help,and that I'd have to talk to the agent I dealt with earlier (so much for managing). The Gainesville office then helped me by connecting me with the actual Insurance company Slide (because King insurance are just bottom shelf middlemen). By the time I got a call back from the agent I had all the information I needed to cancel our policy for the second time.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not get insurance with these unprofessional people. I just cancelled a policy I had with them for over 6 years because they don't know how to take accountability and "it's not my fault, so don't take it out on me." quote from their extremely rude employees. Don't do it, save yourself the headache.

King Insurance doesn't deserve anyones business. They never folliw through and when you think you have cancelled your policy, they continue to take your money. You may get it back but most likely you won't unless you get an attorney involved. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
