SOLD! I live in a different state and finally wanted to sell a single family house in the high desert of California. I purchased this house decades ago when I worked as the night shift ER doc at the local hospital for almost 10 years.

The problem for me in selling this property was that the last time I laid eyes on the house was almost 10 years ago. I had a long-term tenant, who was very nice and paid the rent on time, but had let the property fall into significant disrepair. The prospect of driving multiple times to a remote part of California during the hot summer in order to meet with my tenant and persuade him to move out, was overwhelming. I have so many more fish to fry.

I reached out to two brokers who both gave me what I considered to be low-ball sales prices. The property was I need of a lot of work, but still, I wanted to make more of a profit. Neither broker was personable enough or humble enough to make me comfortable. A search on google, led me to Brandon King Realty, and he was everything anyone would want in a realtor and more. For example, he is highly emotionally intelligent and met carefully with my tenant and helped him find a home to stay in without rocking the boat and creating an adversary for me. Then he sourced nearly every subcontractor I needed from carpet replacement, to tile repair, to interior and exterior painting, to drywall repair, to plumbing repair, appliance replacement and landscaping. He kept me abreast of every development, sourced multiple quotes, and let me decide. It helped that I had receipts of some items I had repaired such as the roof one year prior to deciding to sell, and he provided all of the documentation to prospective buyers.

The remediation process would have taken me about 1 year had I decided to handle it myself. It was only about 3 months with his help. There was a tremendous amount of work done to repair and beautify this property. Amazingly, I never had to visit the property once since Brandon always took care of me. He even hung drapes and replaced my many broken electrical wall plates. He worked so diligently and was so dedicated, I was truly impressed.

Once on the market, he fielded numerous buyers and sold it for about $50,000-$75,000 more than was estimated to me by other realtors. Of course, he earned every penny of this so I was not at all bothered by paying him his 7% commission. It's higher than I have paid in the past but considering that I only had to sit back and make decisions while Brandon performed all of the legwork and marketing, I would have paid 8%.

Also, his marketing prowess is second to none. Just know that you would be hard pressed finding a better marketer for your property. Brandon has a degree in marketing, so it makes sense.

I wish I could have Brandon sell all of my properties. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone interested in selling their property.

To this date, I have never even met Brandon. Every interaction was on the phone, FaceTime, and email. Unbelievable agent, unbelievable process, unbelievable result.
