In this highly competitive (or you can say 'crazy') market, Lila helped us bought our dream house in Los Altos 2 months after we started looking, and sold our current home 3 weeks after we purchased our new home. What impressed me immediately was how patient, knowledgeable, and responsive/efficient Lila was. We went to open houses every weekend, and Lila would go to every one of them with us (up and down the Peninsula). She would thoughtfully point out areas of considerations we haven't noticed before, and she patiently guided us (but never pushed) throughout the buying/selling process.
Here are few qualities that impressed me most about Lila:
- Her organization skill/efficiency - Lila and Robert are amazing at staying on top of everything and took care of EVERYTHING for us during the house purchase/selling process before we even have to ask. In addition to reviewing and summarizing all the paper work, they met with various contractors/stager/inspectors and kept us up to date every step of the way. They made a very overwhelming/stressful process as easy as possible, and they would never let a single ball drop. And even after our house closed, they still help us manage all the improvements we are trying to make to the new house. That's really going above and beyond that I could've never imagined.
- Lila's network - Lila has a recommendation for everything (contractor, gardener, cleaner, floor, termite, etc) , and everyone we worked with has just been top notch and so reasonably priced. We don't even ask about price when we work with Lila's recommendation because 1) Lila would take care of all the negotiation and 2) the price always came in lower than we expected. 🙂
- That leads me to one of Lila's towering strength - Negotiation! I don't know what Lila's secret is, but she's just amazing at negotiating. My husband and I sometimes still cannot believe we got our new house, competing with 8 other offers when we were not one of the top few offers. She got a chance to present our offer to the sellers in person, and she stayed & waited at the office while all other agents presented their offers and left to wait for update. Her tenacity and sincerity won over the sellers and we are so thankful for Lila. And her negotiation skill is apparent throughout the entire process - from pulling the contractor to work at our house last minute, to dramatically reducing the quote that a gardener gave us (without us asking her to help negotiate) - I think there's just a quality about Lila that makes everyone love working with her.
- Finally, and most importantly, I love working with Lila because of her genuine sincerity and kindness. She wins everyone over with her heart! I knew wholeheartedly that she really cared about finding us the dream house, and would do whatever it takes to make our lives as easy as possible. It was so important to have a FRIEND you can trust during this process, someone I can text anytime of the day asking all kinds of questions (some I would be embarrassed to repeat), and someone who I can rely on to ALWAYS advocate for my best interest. I love Lila for her kindness and she's just one of the nicest/sweetest person I have ever met!
