Thus far here in SC, we like Kalani Stone the best in that she is very hardworking, competent, tough in negotiating but nurturing and warm-hearted otherwise, with a special aloha spirit.
She has successfully listed and sold properties of all types. In our case, we also needed someone who knew the specialized mobile home market and the loan requirements different from regular loans. Kalani is well versed and well connected in all these regards, keeping everything well greased and smoothly moving from competitive pricing, excellent tactful communication with Buyers' agent, removal of contingencies--from inspections to home appraisal and loan approval to whatever last-minute kinks in the escrow closing. Kalani has excellent relations with all parties involved in the sale of homes, including the loan officer dealing with mobile home loans. An extra complication was the fact that the Sellers (my parents) were elderly and not local, and Kalani accommodated for this in a compassionate and flexible manner. For all these reasons, our sale went through in a timely fashion, at a competitive price--all in all, very smoothly.
True be told, Kalani's motto, "It's really all about you," could be taken by a cynic as nice-sounding advertising jingo. But I profess that in Kalani's case, it is entirely true. Along with her competence in all aspects of her trade, she is more human and genuine in her interactions than any real estate agent I've come across. She's the real thing, the genuine article. I think ultimately that's why Kalani is so successful in what she does: She treats you empathetically as a human being in the particular situation that you are in and helps you through the challenges, difficulties, and satisfaction of selling and buying a property.

If I ever buy another home in this region, Kalani will be the first and only person that I call! I have learned during this home buying experience that the people you have on your team makes all the difference in the world. You want her on your team! Kalani knows the area, the market, everyone you may possibly need (roofers, brokers, inspectors, everyone!) and she will give you the benefit of her experience with honest feedback and information when you look at places. But more than all of that, Kalani is just a breath of fresh air! The calm voice to talk you off of the ledge when you start to panic about decisions (b/c I’m THAT kind of buyer) and the mama who stashes extra snacks in her purse for your kid in anticipation of a late dinner because you’re viewing houses after work. She thinks of it all and when she says she’s going to do something, she does it right away…not in 4 hours or tomorrow! I respect and appreciate that immensely in a professional. But its all of the personal interaction and her willingness to go so far above and beyond for her clients that makes the real difference.
