This past Saturday, one of my dogs had a terrible cough and had not eaten nor drank anything in 2 days. He also had a fever. We took him immediately to Junaluska Animal Hospital where we’ve had our other dogs who were treated in an emergency. We were taken immediately. The assistant was very competent but pleasant and kind. The doctor had a wonderful bedside manner and spoke to us in terms we could understand. We answered a lot of questions and it felt as if we were actively involved in our pet’s care. We made an initial plan of care and were sent home with a summary of our visit with medications and directions. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful care we received at Junaluska Animal Hospital. They also called the next day to check on our dog who, I’m happy to say, was significantly better.

Recently my 2 year old cat had to have all of her teeth pulled. The procedure went well ; however two days after surgery she got a virus and we almost lost her. I saw three different doctors over a weeks period and all of them were extremely knowledgeable and kind. I appreciate all that they did. My baby girl is almost back to her old self. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This, was my best Veterinarian experience ever! I took my frightened cat to them today for a check-up and to prepare her for international travel. I couldn't believe the positive experience from beginning to end. We were able to keep our super anxious kitty in the car until they were ready to see her. This time was short and sweet. They were amazing at anticipating her needs, kept her comfortable, and minimized the stress as much as possible for her and for us. There were no high pressure sales tactics, unnecessary tests or procedures demanded of us. Our girl received quality care from Dr. Reason and his AMAZING staff. We received valuable information, honesty, and transparency here. Most of all the quality of care was immeasurable! It also did not break the bank. I could not have asked for a better experience and I recommend them highly.

I had previously taken two dogs for emergency care at this practice and was very appreciative of the care that my dogs and I received. When I recently learned that my veterinarian was no longer practicing, the decision on where to go for care was an easy one. It’s a bit longer drive but so worth it as the staff are so helpful and skilled - from front office to techs to practice manager to veterinarians - and obviously love what they do. I’m grateful to know my fur kids are in caring and expert hands!

UPDATE!!
Didn’t realize I had already left a review. I still stand by it. I came to write a review on my experience today. My 17 yo cat has had some severe issues. I’ve had her since I was 5 years old, she’s my absolute world. I got an appointment very quickly and was greeted in the sweetest most compassionate/comforting way ever. I was greeted by Grant. All the shout outs I could possibly ever give goes to Grant! He honestly was a breath of fresh air. I was very distraught not only did he get me water and help me but he also provided Max which is their resident vet cat (my service animal for the time I was there). Absolutely amazing guy. He’s such a keeper. I wish I would’ve gotten the ladies name that took Lovey back but I didn’t. She was lovely as well! Overall I am just so grateful they were able to take care of my baby and be so compassionate in the process!! Please if you have an animal take them here!!! WOW 1000 ⭐️’s

Absolutely amazing staff! Our baby wasn’t doing the best and I know now she’s on her way to a speedy recovery. Both Victoria and Dr.Z assured us as soon as we got there that everything was going to be okay. Thank y’all for everything. Recommending the clinic to everyone!!

Our cat got in a tussle with another cat and ended up with an abscess on his face. The team that worked on him , on very short notice I have to add, did a remarkable job. He has recovered nicely and is back to being the Zane Grey we love!

Junaluska Animal Hospital are always super friendly as you enter. You never have to stand and wait for some hateful person to wait on you. And they are generally pretty quick about getting your pet seen and evaluated. They usually follow up with you after your pet has a procedure also.
