I had an account with IAA Credit Union that was discharged in bankruptcy in July 2019. I've been building my credit ever since with 100% payment history on new debt. All of a sudden my score dropped. Looked into details and see that all of a sudden, IAACU has reported "missed payments" from date of my BK discharge until February 2025. My payment history dropped 3% in last month. I will be contacting my Fair Debt Collection Act attorney to pursue litigation. Very unfriendly lender when a consumer goes through rough financial times along with illegal credit reporting actions. If I could have selected 0 stars, I would have.

Why don’t you notify people to log in so that their account doesnt become inaccessible If I’m paying money to you, my account shouldn’t be temporarily disabled from accessing because I didn’t log in. I received no notification that this would occur and then you need a member number that is only available via paper copy that is mailed… ridiculous.

The service at IAA Credit Union is by far above most banks. The personalization and customer service given to me exceeds my expectations. I was involved in a car accident and received a car loan for a new car in less than one day! I've changed accounts and had great service from Dawn and Kyle! Keep up the good work!

Update: LOVE using this bank. They are willing to answer any questions I have from credit to loans to my account. If your able to bank with them it's recommended from my view. Best bank I've ever used to date!!
I just opened an account here but everyone was so helpful and nice. The woman up front even offered to hold my sleeping 10 month old while I was opening my account. I would recommend this credit union to anyone who is looking to open and account. Well worth it!!

At first I loved this credit union. After, being a member for years this year I am highly disappointed. As I am expecting a new child and a parent to my teenage sister. Seeking a personal loan to move, as I need to expand my household. For certain the credit union wouldn't fail me. Ive had a personal loan with them for years and never late on my payments. The response I got made me realize that I was racially and disgracefully denied without good reason. Noah replied " Unfortunately, I am not able to get an approval. Based on lack of deposit history, Lack of a secured loan, And a recent bankruptcy on the credit report, my boss wasn't really sure why the first loan was approved by the loan officer that did it. Technically those things should disqualify a personal loan. I Just can't do anything at this time. Which my bankruptcy is shy of 4 years which isn't recent, the application was joint meaning I had support. Just never thought I would be denied in such a harsh way. After my loan is fully paid I wouldn't dare continue on as a member. Thanks but no thanks.
