Janis McHaney has been THEE best realtor I have ever worked with! She helped my parents find their home in NWA about 4 years ago and then helped me find the perfect home for my family. She took notes on everything I was looking for in a home and went right to work. She took time to show me several houses and gave me her honest opinion on things. She was always sending me links for places she thought might be a match. She really listened to me and went to bat when she needed to. When I finally found the perfect house I had some issues with the builder and she had no problem standing her ground and standing up for me and what was right. Shortly after she successfully got me in my home she helped my parents buy another piece of land and sell another. She is so talented at what she does and knows how to handle things. I inquired about a rent house that Hutchinson Realty had listed. I filled out the template online and asked to be contacted to schedule a showing. A couple days went by and I never received a response. I decided to call and was told that Leslie was the Property Manager and I could text her to schedule a showing. I was able to get in contact with Leslie and the showing went great. She was super nice and very professional. She helped answer all of our questions and gave us the history of the location.

Later that day, I followed up with Leslie to inform her that we had narrowed down our choices of properties and one of them was the location she had shown us that day. We had a couple SIMPLE requests that we had asked if the Property Owner would consider fixing if we were to move forward with their property. Leslie confirmed she would check and get back with us. A couple days went by and we never heard anything. I sent a follow up text but never received a response. A couple more days later, I sent one last final text and Leslie confirmed the owner was getting quotes for the simple repairs and she would get back with us.

Fast forward to over a week later, still no communication and the listing has now been pulled. Lack of communication is the primary reason for the low rating here. We honestly were still considering the property even without the repairs, but now due to no communication, we’ve missed out on the property all together. But this could be a blessing in disguise as the lack of communication could have been a bigger problem had we moved into the property and had an issue arise. No telling if we would have received the attention needed.
