Most of the employees are rude and useless. Specially lady manager is the rudest person alive. I can’t believe how they still keep her there. They talk behind all the costumers in front of other costumers as soon as they leave. They don’t even to move or get up to anything. Sitting whole day and telling people system is down whenever they can’t handle anything

Some employees here, need to be let go. Or the branch manager. I tried to make a deposit only at the ATM. That normally takes 2 minutes at the ATM. But once again, the machine did not accept deposits. So I drove into the drive up where only one car was there with me. I pressed the button to request a deposit slip...twice. And I sat, and sat. I could see the employee there. After 10 minutes of being ignored, I had to park and go into the bank. I had my grandchildren with me and needed to get them home.
The line had 3 customers ahead of me.
Finally after another 10 minutes, I thought it was finally my turn.
I saw two male employees and two female employees working.
Nobody waited on me.
So I went up to one of the female employees and asked if someone could help me. I said I was waiting and asked for help at the drive up, only to be ignored.
She said yes we're busy with customers and that was why nobody could help me.
She told me to return to the line.
Yet as I stood in line prior, the tellers were talking to another customer's children.
I was in the ATM line, then the drive up, and then the lobby, for over 30 minutes.
I was late getting my grandchildren home as a result.
The teller that finally took care of me was very kind and professional.
But the rest of the customer service was terrible.
So much so, that I've asked my husband to switch banks.
The management and corporation needs to be accountable for this facility's poor customer service.

BEWARE - HUNTINGTON ALLOWS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY

Thousands of dollars were stolen from my checking account with Huntington due to check fraud. Huntington not only allowed this to happen but they are refusing to credit my account for the losses!

If you value your financial security, do NOT bank with Huntington! Your money will not be safe at their bank, and if there is verified fraudulent activity, they will NOT reimburse you.

After they made me come into their local branch to fill out an affidavit and file a police report, they sent me a letter in the mail stating that since I was not paying for their “optional” add-on security insurance (that costs an additional fee each month), they will not reimburse me for the fraudulent activity and considers the matter closed. Their branch manager even told me the fraudulent activity on my account was from a known person who has already been reported!

After responding to their email, another person from their “Customer Advocacy Team,” contacted me simply to tell me that Huntington stands by their decision and considers the matter closed. He generously offered to resend me their original letter that stated they will not reimburse me for the money stolen from my account…

To recap this terrible experience, I had money stolen from my account due to Huntington’s lack of security standards, I was forced to jump through hoops to recover the money, but after doing everything they asked I was told they couldn’t re-credit my account due to me not paying for their upgraded “Security Suite.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!

If you want to get robbed and told by your bank that it was your fault for not paying them an additional monthly fee, look no further than Huntington. However, if you don’t want your bank to watch you get robbed, protect your money by banking elsewhere.

For anyone with a similar experience, make sure to file a complaint with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and report this to your Attorney General.

Horrible customer service. I was depositing a business check into a business account and it took 10 minutes after they received the check to deposit the check. One teller called over another teller and she is there is red flag to due to a phone number on the account. I deposit to other branches with no problem. Then she asking in questions about where I work and how I need to contact someone about updating the phone number. That was all B.S. because the bank don't know who phone numbers are current unless they have a reason to reach the customer, which I know that the bank did not research phone numbers in the past few days from my last deposit. Don't bank at this branch, choose another location or bank to do business.

I had multiple horrible experiences with Huntington employees messing up which made me go out of my way multiple times which was super frustrating. I was on the brink of closing down my account until I spoke with Manal. She was helpful,professional, and kind. I changed my mind because of Manal's great customer service. She was able to swiftly resolve the issue.

The issue: Huntington employees consistently taking down the wrong information which made me have to stop by the bank to change the info in person due to security reasons.
I clearly gave them the correct information every time but the employees kept messing up.
One example: one employee put my social security number as my phone number. I couldn't use online banking or the app because of it.

They SUCK we have accounts there and wanted to open a separate savings account. We showed up on Saturday well before they closed and were told that we had to come back during the week We work until 5pm and they close at 5pm!

I applied at the Orland Park location for a Home Equity Loan. I was denied for the loan. I reviewed the application the bank took and found many errors on the application regarding my debts. I contacted the branch manager Sebastian Gierasinski, told him my concerns and wanted to update or correct the wrong info on my application. He Stated he would call back the next day. That never happened. I then emailed him 3 days later to see when could he get back to me. He emailed me back and said "I will call you tomorrow" he never did. I had to call the branch to find out come someone please call me so I can update my info. If you're looking for a home equity or any loan I would not recommend doing business with Huntington Bank especially the Orland Park location. I have been in the Mortgage business for 30 years and went to them because I don't do home equity loans. The service by the Branch Manager was very poor.

On 9/23/20 opened a 25 Huntington Check Account. Went through all paperwork, set up mobile banking. Did a test deposit, made a deposit of two checks totaling $12,500.00. The next day tried to open app for mobile banking, user name and password not working. After returning to branch, calling Huntington, calling my banks where checks were written from to see if they cleared (confirmed they did clear) call back to Huntington, they say in the "Hold Department" I don't have an account, they did not approve of opening this check account. Where are my checks or my money? Total Horror Story. Run from this regional obsolete bank based in Ohio. Never will do business with this bank. I reported this incident to AG office of Illinois.
