I've waited almost a year to post this review as I know most bad reviews are just insignificant internet fodder, but at this point I feel almost obligated to warn others of how terrible an experience we had buying a home sold by agents from this branch of Howard Hanna, namely David Ezzo & Kathleen Cole. Admittedly, we were first time homebuyers this past spring looking to find ourselves and our three children a home we could call our own, and we went into the process with less experience than we should have. One thing to note, is that we were working with another Howard Hanna real estate agent from another branch.

There were several red flags between these real estate agents and the seller, but our home inspector which was recommended to us by Howard Hanna put our mind at ease. His exact words were "I would not be afraid of this house at all." After 9 months of living here, we've discovered a leaking roof, improper repair of the roof after removal of an old chimney, squirrels who have created multiple holes in the eaves and soffits, plumbing that was rerouted and not up to code, breakdown in the condensing furnace caused by the cement dust that was not filtered away from the appliances when the owner laid it so that it has literally congealed the hardware and wiring inside, and numerous other issues. Needless to say, all of this will cost tens of thousands of dollars in repairs. The more urgent issues left us scrambling to find grants and programs that would help lighten the load.

Most of these things are issues that would have been evident to anyone who had owned the home and these agents would have been privy to at least some of these details. On top of all that, these agents were aggressive and uncaring for professionalism to say the least. They coordinated with our real estate agent with extreme little notice and sometimes never kept their commitments to show or call at all. They couldn't even find the house keys after we made the final purchase on the house (we were forced to climb through an unlocked window and change the locks the same day).

Our experience with Mr. Ezzo & Ms. Cole has left a huge burden on our family and I would suggest anyone who is recommended to them or is remotely thinking about using them should run far, far away.

My experiance is about a year old now but felt it should still me mentioned cor consideration. I had been n a property where my landlord has passed away and hisnson had taken control of the property. The agent from this office qas put in charge of sellong it and constantly tried to nreaknthe state law by forcing me off the property for showings. In addition when a showing would be authorized for an agent she would not only allow up to 4 different sets of showing in the house but also would not be there. Her actions left my new landlord in a very vulnerable spot and despite for my love of his family this agent put me on the brink of a law suit for her actions on his behalf.
