My husband filed his 2020 taxes with Heather Wall and for months he never received his return or any call backs from Heather. She avoided him and he was not able to file any taxes since. We married this past June 2024 and I decided to look into this. We tried contacting her office for weeks and finally saw she changed her company name. I started emailing and calling her new office and was always told "She's out of the office.". Finally, I said I'm going to report her to the IRS and that's when she decided to respond. She said she contacted the IRS on my husband's behalf and they said they sent him letters saying they needed something from him to process it. We make an appointment to go into her office because she states she has to refile them and needs his signature. Wellllll we called the IRS before showing up and they say she never submitted his 2020 tax return and they never tried contacting him. She's a bold face liar. Once at her office she lies more saying she filed the 2020 taxes electronically and has proof yet never shows us the proof! When confronted with our evidence she says, “I don’t even know what to say at this point.”…. How about apologize or own up lady?!!!!! I’m a nurse and if I made mistakes I would get penalized and fired so she’s lucky!The deadline for filing 2020 taxes was may 17,2024. We know we are not getting the money by now. I've already reported her to the IRS misconduct and negligence department and the the California consumers affairs for accountants. I suggest anyone who has issues as we do, do the same. Only way to recover his tax return at this point is by taking legal action.

If I could give this 0 stars, that would be my rating for Heather's Bookkeeping. I reached out to Heather with hopes of maximizing my taxes the "professional" way since we had recently bought a house. I had high expectations that she would do a great job because of all these 5 star ratings on Google I read before choosing her to file my taxes. She did not taker her time to help us and rushed through everything. Everything was inputted as seen on our W2s, and she didn't even ask us any other questions that could possibly help increase our return. Not only that, she filed our address wrong and didn't even ask us how we wanted our refund--we wanted direct deposit which she automatically opted us for check mailing. I called her back to notify that our address was wrong which she said she will contact the IRS immediately to get it fixed. Well what do you know. I created my online IRS account only to find that our address has NOT been changed, and that's why this review is now being written 4 months after the service date. Her service that she charged us was something we could've done through a free tax filing website. Don't waste your time and find someone better.

If I could give Heather 10+ stars I would! I was positive I was going to have the first year where I actually owed money on my taxes. Heather took the time to ask us questions and found the appropriate deductions and I actually ended up getting a little back! It’s very easy to make an appointment and my wife and I were in and out in no time. Thank you, Heather! You rock!!!

I never post reviews. Actually my first one. But as a small business startup she wasted a lot of my time and don’t want other people starting a company have their time wasted. But Heather is very unreliable and lies about pricing. During my Free consultation she gave me a pricing for my business. A month later we decided to go with her and during my call to tell her we will go with her she raised the price and said she never gave us the lower price. I needed an accountant and so I just agreed and she said she was going to send over the letter for me to sign either that day or the next. Over two weeks went by and I emailed her twice. I had to call and then she finally sent it over and raised the price again. I emailed back about the pricing and she just never responded. I recommend not wasting your time with her services. Much more reliable companies out their.
