While Lorraine is a nice person, I had an extremely difficult time getting her or anyone in her office to go over our tax return with us prior to filing and even after filing. Every time I'd call they would make it sound like we were asking them to go above and beyond to sit down and go over our return. With the exception of the very first appointment to hand over my documentation, I had to be a squeaky wheel just to get an appointment. I was therefore astounded when I was handed a $1300 bill including a $700 "new client" fee. I will never go back to someone who doesn't have time for me, so that fee is down the drain (and of course I was not notified of this fee ahead of time). I hope this review can spare another Los Alamos resident from being scammed like I was.

I don't normally write reviews, but I just went here for a free half-hour consultation for my new LLC business. Lorraine explained EVERYTHING I needed to know in just thirty minutes! She was very helpful and answered all my questions. She explained gross receipts, self-employment tax & income tax very thoroughly. The consultation was free (idea being you hire them later when your business is doing well enough.) I'm pretty convinced they will be my accountants of choice when that day comes! Also, I called in yesterday and they got me in by today. Great business.
