Excellent Experience at Hanover Powersports!

I've been a customer of Hanover Powersports for years, having purchased a couple of motorcycles from them. George has always been fantastic to work with – his knowledge and dedication make the buying process smooth and enjoyable.

Today, my Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ was in for a recall service, and the experience was top-notch. Tom and Will at the service desk were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They're genuinely good guys who make you feel confident your bike is in capable hands.

A special shout-out to Tim, the technician who worked on my Tracer. He took care of the recall first thing in the morning while I waited, and he did an absolutely great job. The efficiency and quality of his work were truly impressive.

Overall, Hanover Powersports consistently provides excellent service and a great selection. Highly recommend!

I’ve been riding motorcycles for 25 years. Last year, I purchased a $35,000 motorcycle from this dealership. The sales process was smooth and professional, but the service department is absolutely terrible.

I called multiple times to schedule my first maintenance, but no one followed up properly or got back to me. It’s clear that they’re only interested in selling the product — after-sales support is practically nonexistent.

The service department is extremely disappointing

Had a great experience buying here from George. These folks ride. Also got excellent advice from the parts guy on tires for my FE350s. The bike was getting a tone of traction. The stock dual sport tires would be useless but his recommend was affordable and work incredibly well. I'll be back for any service needs for sure. Great shop!

I have had numerous issues with the service department at Hanover Powersports over the last few years. This last issue has caused me to vow never to return here and seek my motorcycle service needs elsewhere. What should have been a simple task for them turned into a huge failure.

I made an appointment over a month in advance. Brought my bike in and asked for an oil change. I inquired about a detail service and was told it could be done in 2 days. Perfect. I said do the oil change and call me tomorrow to let me know what else the bike needs so that I could decide if I want to spend $150 on the detail cleaning service. The next day…no call. The following day….no call. I tried calling and was forced to leave a message after several attempts to talk to anyone in the service department. The next day (day 3) still no return call. I call again. The service manager (Tom) was confused and was provided incorrect info about someone else’s bike. He then said he would call me back in “5 minutes”. No call back that day. Closed for the next two. Finally, I got a call from the service coordinator (Will) who said the bike had been detailed and the oil change done…$550. I said I didn’t authorize the detail because I was never called to discuss these charges. When I explained to Will how Tom had never called back, the response was “Wow, that’s effed up.” He didn’t seem very surprised by his boss’ incompetence and lack of integrity.

I asked to talk to manager and I was told, “call back and ask for the sales department. Then ask to speak to Jesse. If I try to get the manager you’ll wait forever.” I took this to mean, Jesse doesn’t care about the service department and only cares about sales and the money. I would soon find out.

I did that and got Jesse on the phone. I explained the situation to him and was treated like a liar. He didn’t even ask Tom what happened. He accused me of being rude and in the end, did absolutely nothing. The kicker is when I picked up the bike, the work order they had me sign said “call for work approval”.

I have bought two motorcycles from this dealer totaling over $40,000 and this is the treatment. Disgusting. Jesse couldn’t even be bothered to apologize for the experience in person (nor over the phone). To be honest, he comes across and a spoiled brat who’s inheriting a business that he will soon ruin. It’s a shame. I guess I’ll move on to Honda Corporate office to see if there is any chance for customer service left within Honda Powersports.

Traveled over an hour multiple times to browse, purchase bikes, parts & gear from this dealership. I will return to Hanover over other, closer dealerships! Jesse is an excellent, laid-back salesman. Reid in the finance department was a pleasure to work with. The entire team at Hanover is attentive, thorough and most of all, just nice people. Not to mention, the great inventory! I highly recommend!

Can’t say enough great things about the service at Hanover Powersports. Tom was super accomodating getting my bike in during the limited time I could bring it in and the technician, Tim, went above and beyond to properly diagnose and fix the issue that had been plaguing my bike. These guys are rock stars. Will only do business with this dealer in the future. I’d give ten stars if I could.

I just need to take a minute and thank the Parts department for their Excellent customer service. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. I’ve been chasing A clutch problem for about 250+ bike hours. I replaced every part of the clutch system , Some of them multiple times. I got on the phone with John earlier this week. We ordered the parts. They arrived exactly when He said they would. I picked them up. ( I even had the new clutch plates soaking an oil on my way home)Installed it, bled air exactly how Jon told me to. And BAMB! Smooth flawless clutch feel. At this point, I don’t even care about my 5000 Failed attempts at fixing it. I’m just so happy it’s fixed! (Happy tear wipe) thank you, Jon.

Worse dealership I’ve ever dealt with. I warn you all DO NOT take your motorcycle here for service unless you want your motorcycle back without motor oil in it and not shifting correctly. I have a 2021 Honda Goldwing that had a recall for the bolt replacement. I took it to Hanover to have the recall done there dealing with the service manager Jesse. The technician failed to put the motor oil back into the engine and not only did he forget that, he didn’t complete the recall properly which is causing my 2021 Honda Goldwing which I purchased brand new not to shift properly and impossible to find neutral. Shifting from first gear to second gear feels like I’m about to break the shifter and down shifting is impossible. I have to stay on second gear at a red light and release clutch on second gear. My Goldwing was there for two months for this recall and every time I would call they would have an excuse that the part is on backorder to a point where they stopped answering my phone calls. Till one day, Jesse, the service manager called me telling me that my bike is done and ready for pick up. I picked up my bike rode 30 miles to my home once I reached my destination the motor oil light came on. I checked the dipstick completely dry. The service department has very horrible communication very and horrible customer service and most importantly, horrible service technicians. I opened the case with Honda America in order to take my bike to another service department in order for the damages to be covered under the warranty. I warn you all stay away from this service department hanover power sports step up your game. In addition; to your reply to my review no I have only posted this review using my Google account with my valid name and valid account. Show proof where my other reviews are using other names. Also I never called the service department to use foul language you are not worth my time and no bill exists since it was a recall that’s covered under warranty. Also how do I check out when the motorcycle and keys are in your service departments possession. Stop with the lies read all your 1 star reviews which are all complaints about your horrible service department. I’m not the only one who left you a horrible review because of your horrible service you and your staff provide. Also ask yourself would you bring back your motorcycle to a service department whose “certified technician" failed to put motor oil back into the bike. I’m sure all your customers would say no. Stop failing and try again. Reviewers read Joe Trinviars review they lack communication never return calls and perform services without authorization from the customer and then just bill you. That review was left two months ago around the same time I experienced the same as Joe did. I rest my case. Involve the police department involve the army I careless. lol. Wasting the departments time because your lies say I used foul language. Stop wasting their time they have real crimes to fight not foul language.

Great to work with, they answer the questions to things I dont know the answer to, they ride the same sort of bike I do and I always feel taken care of. Havent bought a bike here yet, but it would be considered just based on the parts dept alone.
