I wasted several thousand dollars! I worked with this business for several months, initially hiring them to do an audit of Quickbooks and to complete my taxes. They continued to try to sell me more services and products and told me those extra services were necessary in order to file my taxes - which they never did. I asked for a refund ONLY of the amount I had paid for S-corp taxes which they did not file, since I have to pay an actual accountant to do it for me. The owner was extremely rude, argued with me, gaslit me, then told me they had done additional services I had not been told about and that's what the money would be applied to. She later emailed me to say she would be refunding the money for tax preparation, but never refunded it. I did not even ask for a refund for the amount I had paid for a Quickbooks clean up, in spite of the fact I had to cancel Quickbooks because they made it even worse than it was when they took it over! When I shared my experience in the Facebook group where she had been recommended, several other people shared similar experiences. I have reported her to the Better Business Bureau but they tell me she has not responded to them. Now I am working with an ACTUAL CPA (which she is not) locally and they are charging me less for my S-corp and personal taxes both than she was charging just for the S-corp taxes. I feel I was scammed.
