I sold my mother’s home in December in Mountain Home. My agent was Bashan Bradbury who did everything and more to help with this sale. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with!! He contacted painters, electricians, carpet companies, got a cleaning lady, a carpet cleaning company, someone to power wash the siding and driveway, a local business to buy some of her antiques, and was available to meet with the yard crew to get things ready to sell.
He put us in touch with an estate sales person ( who was excellent!!) and helped with the setup of that sale.
When we arrived at the house in the June from Montana, our home, one of the freezers in the garage had oozed thawed, rotten food. He brought his trailer in to haul the spoiled putrid food and other garbage to the dump. He did that a couple of times.
His communication and expertise was spot on.
We can’t thank him enough.
I recommend Bashan hands down if you are looking for a hard working, honest realtor whether you are selling or buying.

UNPROFESSIONAL and borderline scam artist. We dealt with Joe Wood at Gilbert Realty.First of all, we were purchasing our retirement home after much research. We fell in love with the beauty of Mountain Home.and we were willing to buy site unseen, but JOE Wood insisted if we were serious that we come see the home first. We booked last minute flights, and one week worth of hotel and car rental. You know, to show that we were “serious” for JOE Wood. My husband was joining me days later, but I was able to see the beautiful home to confirm we were interested. I had a short time frame and was pressured, but happy to say yes to the home within hours of seeing it. We were suppose to receive the call about our offer but JOE was out of the area. So I waited and waited just to get the call that JOE Wood told my realtor he was going to wait for a couple more days so other offers can roll in. Are you serious That is just unethical and unprofessional. My realtor Leighann from Ozarks United Realty was shocked and surprised at the news. I began to cry and was so upset. Leighann Robinson was a true treasure during this time and we began our search for other homes.

Unfortunately, my husband and I were so turned off by Joe Wood that we chose to look else where.
We closed within days on another home and here we are celebrating days later when we receive an email from Joe Wood stating we hope we like the area because his own parents didn’t!!!
