I have been using Ghirardo CPA for almost 20 years. My taxes are pretty complicated (at least for me) so I really appreciate the work they do to simplify them and make my taxes acceptable for the IRS.

I have real estate and stock and 401K and 1031 exchanges. You don't want to be using an online or do it yourself tax return program if you have a portfolio of diversified investments.

On a recent transaction I was able to use them to help me with a 1031 exchange and they helped me find new higher return investments for the exchange money in less than the 45 day deadline for reinvesting funds.

There may be cheaper companies out there but more important to me than having the cheapest accountant is a company that can reduce my taxes and keep me out of trouble. I trust them and have confidence they are doing the right thing.

On top of that, the people I work with, Steve, Jim and Nick, are really nice guys.
