Truly one of the most bizarre customer services experiences I’ve had. After an awkward conversation taking my info for a vacation home we are buying, the agent told me the property couldn’t be insured due to a lack of a fire hydrant within the area. Ok, I understand that…but when I asked if he could recommend another agency (admittedly maybe not the best question I’ve ever asked), he informed me that I should’ve called my current agency, that anyone could answer that question and I didn’t need to ask them. When I tried explaining I was calling around to receive quotes to compare, he repeated that I should just ask my current agency or any other agency in NC. He said this rudely and when I I tried to explain I was simply trying to do some comparison shopping, and that I didn’t understand his negative tone, he hung up on me. I guess they don’t believe in customer service or need new business

I have had insurance with the Freeman Agency for about 3 years now and couldn't be happier with the service and value they offer. When I decided to swap from a different insurance provider over to Erie, Samuel and everyone I interacted with at the Freeman Agency made the transition smooth and easy. Samuel works hard to find the best coverage for the best deal possible. When we transfered from renters insurance to homeowners insurance he gave me a quote at the beginning of the process and once everything was finalized he was able to find an even better deal that was less than the original quote. I appreciate the work and care they put in to make the insurance process affordable and understandable.

While we were in the process of buying our house, Samuel even provided me his cell number so that we could communicate while he was out of the office and he could answer all my questions as quickly as possible.

Their claims process is easy and painless. When I had to have a windshield replaced in my vehicle, they had everything sorted out in a matter of minutes and the windshield was replaced a couple days later. The glass company even came to my work to fix the windshield so that I didn't have to find the time to get it fixed.

I would recommend the Freeman Agency for all insurance needs. We have bundled vehicle and homeowners insurance through them for the last few years and have been very happy with the service and attentiveness they provide.
