Fraud company. They offer FirstMedicare Direct and they put a bogus "Member Services/Benefits Questions" phone number on their card (844) 499-5630. I have been trying to reach them since January 1 and my calls all go to Alignment instead who tells me I'm not in their system. I filed a complaint for fraud medicare program with the US govt Ombudsman 800-MEDICARE
(800) 633-4227 and the US inspector general's office 1-800-HHS-TIPS (1-800-447-8477) and with the NC insurance offices.

Received letter in mail from these people.offering up medicare. So I called to let them know remove me from their I wanna try to get a new customer. No not me. They are not government affiliated. Lady answering figured out real quick what I thought of offer. I hope she removed name and address because I am not happy. People wake up. Consumers are sick and tired of junk mail.

Still waiting. All my sons claims are not paid.
It's been four years since his accident. Credit now ruined, thank you for that. Now its the bill collectors who think they will get paid for these old bills he is not responsible for.
Forget getting the services that will help if it's out of network. It will NEVER GET APPROVED! Even if it will help that person get back to some semblance of life.
Some of their "in network" facilities should not be providing any services!
Especially if the doctors say "yes, bed sores are a problem we can't seem to beat here"?
Even they would still be waiting to be paid completely. This member was at 100% catastrophic day one of his accident.
Did it matter? Nope.
You should not be providing insurance coverage if your Not going to pay and force doctors to rethink their care because you tell them you are not going to pay for those services. Even though the plan says those services are covered? There are case managers bragging how much money they saved the company by having doctors do cheaper care routines? I to am in those circles.
First, They Should Not be talking about this.
Second, They Should Not be making doctors second guess their care. They are the doctors. Not the Case Managers! They are ruining people's chances at care that is beneficial to them because of the amount of time it takes to get there after having to suffer though substandard care.
Shame on you!
I CAN NOT recommend this company.
UPDATE:
We went to Shepherd Center in Atlanta (that is not in your network of care). It took them 24 hours to get my son OFF his ventilator. 10 days and we had a plan of care that is working for him . Even this long after. Imagine if you had just sent him to begin with?
They (the doctors) remembered trying to work with you and you flat refused. Spinal or Brain Injuries, This is their specialty. It is also CHEAPER than going to Select Specialty Hospital at Duke.
Do better FCCIC.
I still can not recommend you. You have family that can not get the coverage they paid for either...
