Compared to the other FSSB, this bank has the best staff. Always willing to help with my crazy phone calls. They make it so much more simpler and without a hassle. Leesburg is the reason we decided to not switch banks.

First Southern State Bank in Leesburg has the sweetest group. They are willing to help with anything with such a positive attitude. No matter how many times I call with questions, they jump on it. Hands down the best FSSB in the area.

Extremely disappointed. For a small town bank they have horrible communication and customer service. We opened a new account. We deposited two checks around $3,000. We were informed they would be held for 9 days, we said that was not an issue. Apparently they conveniently forgot to mention they would also completely freeze the entire account for those 9 days. We couldn't use the CASH we had deposited in the account to pay any bills, we couldn't even deposit. We were informed it was a "view only" account for those 9 days. I spoke with the bank and she informed me that the manager said they would not change it and that it would stay frozen. The manager didn't even bother returning my voicemail. So I have received zero explanation as of today. I will be closing my account when I have the time to do so. I was really looking forward to using a local bank. I will have to try another.
