I've had an account with first federal bank for about a year. I normally go through the specific bank in Farmington but I live in Fayetteville and needed to put cash in my checking account without the drive.i go into the bank and deposit $101.17 into my account. As I'm at the check out counter at the grocery store my card DECLINES. (I do not have an overdraft option on my card) i figure it may just be because I had inserted money within the last couple hours. I go to the same bank I deposited it at, tying to just take the cash out from the ATM and avoiding confrontation. Well my money is not on my card at all... I go inside and there's 3 girls sitting at the front counter I go in and explain nicely what the problem was and 2 of the girls begin "looking" for the problem in the computer system as that is taking a while the 3rd girl jumps in and says "your phone company overdrafted your card and they have it." Which my phone company dosent take money off my card I pay in store. I ask for a print out of the statement and they tell me they can't give me one... they literally can't print my statement out.. so AGAIN TRYING TO AVOID PROBLEMS I call my phone company and they have no idea what I am talking about just saying that I PAID MY BILL IN CASH ON THE 15TH OF THIS MONTH AND I OWE NOTHING. I go back into the bank as I tell the ladies at the counter what The problem is while They stare at me as if I have no idea what I'm talking about.. I walk over to speak to the manager being able to see and hear them talking bad about Me. I explain what the problem is to the manager. The manager try's to tell me how I need to pay MY OWN BILLS. I just asked for my money and to close my account. As I leave she also begins to talk behind my back.. DO NOT USE THIS BANK THEY TRY TO PULL YOU MONEY OUT FROM UNDER YOU AND TALK TO YOU AS IF ITS YOUR FAULT.
