My new debt card cvc was only two numbers. It's supposed to have three. Lol! No worries, I made an appointment and stopped in the next day.

My appointment was with Stacey. Not only did she apologize for the defective card (the card printer being repaired) she ordered me a new replacement card. Also while I was there, she helped me with setting up my direct deposit and online login. Stacey is fabulous!

I have had online banking in the past but I like to have my banking relationship with a real location with a real person. And there's free parking in the back.

I'm in my happy place!

Having a card machine is the primary reason to have a physical location. When it’s down the usefulness of your location is nil. It should never be a case of “it will be fixed shortly”

I have been an FECU member since 1999. Unfortunately, since the pandemic and even yesterday the Culver City location seems to suffer from multiple issues. True they offer snacks and chips, but that did not help yesterday when I went there to get a new debit card because my account got hacked again through Facebook probably or the internet for like the 8th time with this FECU debit card. In the past, they have been quick to replace the debit card. However yesterday was not a good day for me, I took my mom out of the senior center who is handicapped. I drove all the way across the 10 freeway and the 405 in traffic. Finally when I arrive to the Culver City location, I get greeted by a lady with an iPad. Sadly, she informs me that the debit card machine is broken not just at her branch but at all branches altogether. Now members put yourself in my shoes You just heard what I said I've driven all the way across traffic only to be told bad news. I also overheard another member in the office yelling that his $5,000 were missing and what they were going to do about it? I immediately thought this bank unfortunately has a lot of red flags at the moment. I then decided to tell the girl to please close the account but I decided you know what keep at least a dollar in the account because they do offer good things like low interest rates when you want to buy a car. In essence yesterday was on a good day I have made a new appointment for tomorrow hopefully that debit card machine is up and running and I don't find myself driving all the way over there to be told again that the debit card machine is broken. This is my story 🙂 To further add, Bank of America when there is fraud activity they are quick to inform you and they are readily available much more than a credit union such as FECU again this is just my point of view everyone has their story. Finally, I do like working with First entertainment credit Union when it comes to getting auto loans, and home equity line of credits. The rates are very reasonable compared to other banks and for that purpose I will forever be a member of first entertainment credit Union. Stay safe ? ❤️

Don’t waste your time. They took copies of all our documents and then said they were waiting for an email from their manager to get approval to open the account because we were past the 30 day window. I mean couldn’t they just call the manager? What’s the point of taking copies of all our private info if they knew it wasn’t going to work anyway?

Patty, Jessica, and, I cant remember her name, but she greets you when you walk in, are amazing. They were very helpful and did their best to make obtaining a loan smooth and friendly. So thank you ladies for all you do. Awesome job ?

Went in to acquire an auto loan for a fairly minuscule amount in comparison to what used cars are selling for these days. This is supposed to be a bank with a mission statement of "we help artists and musicians". Honestly, I didn't feel very "helped". I'll admit that I was a little late in turning in some financial information due to the incompetence of my workplace. But even on top of that, I didn't hear back about the loan for a whole month.

I FINALLY heard back only to find out I was denied said loan. Too little too late as well as the car was sold out from under me because they took so long. Apparently working two jobs and being a starving artist isn't enough for this bank to help out those they claim to help in their mission statement. I wasn't even offered an option to throw on a co-signer.

I didn't go down to one star only because the employees there that I dealt with were very nice and pleasant to work with. They're just doing their job. It's not their fault the system in general is corrupt.
