I had the best loan experience ever. Member Service Representative II, Remi Talbot at the Goodyear office was outstanding. She was profesional and caring with processing my Home Equity Line of Credit loan. She kept me
Informed at each step of the process. She always provided follow up calls and answered my questions and requested appropriate required paperwork. There were absolutely no delays. She made a process that could have been stressful a pleasant experience. She is an excellent employee. Thanks for being there.

I’ve had this bank since I opened my first account and within the past 5 years I’ve been skimmed FOUR TIMES! Two of those times I had to call and inform my bank. Their telephone staff is useless! I’ve had to call back several times because people don’t know how to properly transfer a call and I have to explain my issues all over again. I work full-time and had to spend two hours at work on the phone with a bunch of folks who can’t do their job right! On top of that, when I got skimmed last year and called the fraud department, they told me I needed a case number otherwise there’s nothing they can do. I asked for a manager and the guy refused to get me in contact with one. I later found out that it’s the fraud department who creates the case number. Today, I find a charge on my account I didn’t authorize and guess what I had to call customer service because the fraud department didn’t flag it. It was for $3.99 for a university I’ve never even heard of. That is how it starts each time. There will be a small charge and then a big one shortly after. Thankfully, I caught it before someone could steal thousands from my account. I will be switching banks as soon as possible. This was my final straw!

I deposited a check for a larger sum today at the Phoenix Devonshire branch. I asked for a small portion (less than 10%) be made available immediately. I was told it was the managers discretion but the "manager" declined to release any funds on the check and they placed a 5 business day hold on the funds. I understand the hold based on the large sum of money and I was not expecting immediate access to 100% of the funds. The teller even asked me how much I wanted access to immediately without my prompting. I have been a member for over 50 years. I've had car loans, line of credit that were paid off without ever missing a payment or being late. I have kept my accounts because of the more personal service I've received in the past. I do have personal and business accounts with a couple of other "big" banks. However, I never thought I would be treated with such disregard after so much time with First Credit Union. The "manager" never came out to speak with me but the teller simply sent her a message and the teller told me the "manager" said no. To say that I am beyond disappointed is an understatement. A "manager" who hides behind the teller is not good member service and in my opinion is cowardly. First Credit Union needs to remember that their financial institution is built on their members backs. I am closing my account and establishing a personal account with BMO, where my business accounts are held as they treat me like gold. Bye Bye First Credit Union!

The online UI is pretty outdated and old looking. It is not helpful whatsoever. They do not make it convenient for the customer to make additional principal only payments on their loans, so that they can make the most money possible. I will be refinancing my loan through a different credit union that tailors to their customers.

I had reached out through reviews to explain just how upset I had been with my past experience.
First Credit Union called me in a instant to apologize and to hear me out . They expressed their apology’s and took into consideration my views on the wait times for the drive through. The Apology I was very genuine from the manager there how I wish I could remember her name . Anyway I really feel I had to update my review because it spoke volumes that she reached out. Her understanding and apology were sincere and I believe changes will be made. I am very happy that I was heard. Thank you First credit union for always caring and listening when something goes wrong .

Really difficult to constantly jump through the hoops of there faulty website, and poor customer service. I'm sure some people are really nice that work there, but the amount of time (spent on hold), and effort to make a payment is really frustrating. Website didn't work, so I called in to make a payment over the phone. They charge a $10 processing fee for taking payments over the phone.
