I cannot say enough GREAT things about First Choice and Todd & Kelley Goodman. With so many placement companies and resources out there, it is hard to know who to trust. Kelley has helped with both my grandma AND my mom as well as my husband’s aunt. Each situation was different/unique and Kelley was able to quicky assess the needs for each person and help us find the right place. Dealing with loved ones is very emotional and I think many people get taken advantage of during this time. I always knew I could trust First Choice to help direct us to the best decision for our family. Kelley was always available to have a conversation, answer questions, ask the right questions and offer sound advice based on years of training and experience. First Choice has amazing relationships with so many different care facilities of all types and price ranges as well, so the scope of places for placing your loved one is large. From the first call to the last call she was insightful and empathetic in assisting and meeting our needs. She had excellent rapport with all of the board and care homes and assisted living facilities. She was well respected by the owners of the care facilities. She was very knowledgeable of all of the state laws and regulations. She rapidly responded with making appointments and followed up after the appointments. Kelley is amazing! She gave us a list of potential Memory Care homes. She then made appointments with each site for us. We carefully assessed each place. We fell in love immediately with one service provider. I had decided 5 years ago that I would never place my relative in a 'home.' But, circumstances changed, and placement was medically necessary. Kelley was insightful and empathetic. She was also quick, which is a very important asset when one suddenly learns that insurance has stopped for the rehab facility. We were given only 3 days notice that the insurance company had determined our rehab stay was 'over!'

Five stars for Kelley!! We used her service 5 months ago and we are still SUPER pleased with the Memory Care Home we selected.

Todd very quickly helped us find a great board and care for my dad and it is a great fit for him and my mom who visits him every day. After a fall, Mom finally realized that she couldn't take care of my dad, who has Alzheimers, anymore. All of us kids live out of state so I flew in for a few days to help Mom figure out where he goes from the hospital. Kaiser gave us a list of people to contact for this process and I randomly called Todd from the list (he was in the middle of the alphabetical list). He was professional and compassionate to our need to move Dad within a day or two.
That day we saw one house but was supposed to see three. Mom liked the first one and the other two were further away from her home so we chose the very first house. Todd explained the process clearly and helped us understand how the board and care facilities work. This being our first experience, I was grateful for Todd's knowledge as well as him understanding our need to be quick since I was leaving in two days and my 87 year old Mom could not make these emotional decisions on her own.
Dad has now been at the home for 10 days and Mom says he is well taken care of and is very happy there.
