When having early discussions with FSI, I didn’t initially think that I needed them to develop a financial plan for me as I was just interested in having someone “manage my money”. Ultimately, I did agree to have them do a plan and I am thankful I did as that plan has proven invaluable and serves as my roadmap to financial success.

I paid a lot of money for a "financial plan" and maybe my expectations were not realistic but what I got was a "financial projection" based upon data input into a computer program. I have even found what appear to be several "errors" in the input data which would affect the projection. I had them corrected once but believe there are more, so in the end I feel like I received a very expensive product of questionable value to me as I plan for retirement. On the plus side the people I dealt with were very cooperative, accommodating and pleasant to work with.
