I have been a loyal customer of Farmers Insurance for over 10 years, and up until recently, I had never encountered any issues with their services. However, my recent experience with them regarding my business insurance has left me extremely dissatisfied.

The incident occurred when one of our business windows was broken, and we promptly filed a claim with Farmers Insurance to have the damages covered. To my surprise, the adjuster informed me that window coverage was not included in my policy and questioned whether I was aware of this exclusion. I had no knowledge of this omission, as our agent Sally had never discussed our policy coverage or provided us with the necessary policy documents.

Frustrated by the lack of communication and guidance from our agent, we attempted to contact the district manager, Matthew Mirtoni, for weeks. Despite numerous calls and emails, he has failed to respond to any of our inquiries. Additionally, we have also tried reaching out to Sheila Freiberg without any success. It is incredibly unprofessional and disheartening that they cannot even provide a simple call back.

Furthermore, Sally admitted her mistake in failing to add the necessary coverage for window damages but has refused to rectify the situation. We are paying substantial amounts for business insurance, yet we are left without coverage for something as basic as a broken window. It is utterly unbelievable that Sally did not inform us about the need for separate coverage.

I find the overall conduct of the Farmers Insurance staff in this situation to be highly unprofessional. The complete lack of communication, disregard for customer concerns, and failure to take responsibility for their mistakes is simply unacceptable.

As a long-term customer, I expected better service from Farmers Insurance. This experience has severely impacted my trust in the company, and I am now actively considering alternative insurance providers.

In conclusion, I would strongly caution anyone considering Farmers Insurance to thoroughly review their policy coverage and ensure that clear communication is established with their agent. Based on my recent encounter, I cannot recommend Farmers Insurance as a reliable and professional insurance provider..

We’ve had Farmers Insurance through Sheila for at least 30 years or so. Never had any bad experiences. All the girls are always so friendly, passionate, kind, helpful and professional. Nancy is always on top of it and goes above and beyond to help me and get what I need. She’s amazing! I hope she doesn’t retire just yet! 🙂 Overall, I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
