Pay close attention to your policy, coverage, and premiums. I was the perfect insurance client, no accidents, no claims, no late payments, no worries I thought. I was in a not-at-fault accident, damages were less than my deductible, Farmer's didn't have to pay a penny, yet, they showed an accident claim on my file, which increased my premiums, then I sold my vehicle and 4-5 days passed until I purchased another car, I added it to my policy, but was told my policy was cancelled and I had a 4 day lapse in coverage. This was a sly way to increase my premiums for an error of 'lapse in coverage', which was not the case at all. I attempted to try to get these two incidents resolved, but Mr. Malone wasn't interested in my concerns and not interested in keeping my business. My homeowner's coverage paid $4,000 on a new roof which cost $16,000, the $12,000 difference came out of my pocket. BE SURE and read the fine print, ask questions by email so you have proof of the conversations. I'm saving almost $1,100 per year since leaving Farmer's and I have more coverage, too. Worry free coverage, friendly agent and staff! I’m concerned my premiums are high when doing a recent comparison with other agencies. I’d rather not leave Farmer’s great service, but the cost of coverage is important too.
