Opened an account to have something more local. Choosing this was a mistake. 3 weeks and the online banking is still down for new members. So no way to check account balance. Daily debit card limit is $1000 and they charge 5 bucks if you wanna raise it. Daily use limit on your debit card of 25. Which would be ok except the entire weekend is a day. So if you use your card 25 times before the weekend is put you'll be waiting til Monday cause there's no way to get it unlocked. I'll be going to another bank that actually allows me to access my money. This place is ridiculous.

The new Hohenwald branch is a fantastic place to keep your funds. Their app is easy to use and makes moving money from one account to another a breeze. Amazing people doing great work! 🙂

We have been members at the Spring Hill branch for five years. Very disappointed with the (so-called) customer "service".
*1. They refuse to answer their phones if you want to speak to a real person you have to call the Columbia branch.
*2. Their phone system that is supposed to enable you to check your balances and keep track of deposits does not work properly. Since the Spring Hill Branch never answers the phone you always have to call Columbia to get things straightened out.
*3. The staff is very poorly trained from the teller's right up to the bank "officers". We made an appointment to come in and set up a trust fund account and brought all the paperwork we were told we would need. It took forever -the officer did not know what she was doing, and we were told 3 months later that they really don't do trust fund accounts, and she should not have set one up for us 🤷🏻‍♂️ *4. Their website says they are open on Saturdays until noon but when you drive clear over there, the sign on the door says the lobby is open by appointment only. They need to FIX their website but that's just one of half a dozen things that are wrong with this branch. *5. They really have no problem with leaving people standing in a long line while they chit chat in their offices, and the only time you'll get any attention is if they're getting ready to close.
# reading the many reviews on here which are UNDERSTANDABLY negative --it appears things have gone downhill at this branch consistently for 8 years. The few good "reviews" are probably from family members of employees who work there. #I would definitely NOT recommend the Spring Hill Branch of Family Advantage Credit Union. We have friends who have used the Columbia branch for years, and say it is excellent.

I’ve been a member here for years and have never had a bad experience. I’ve had mortgages and several loans. The staff have always been friendly, patient and went above and beyond. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

I rarely write these reviews but in effort to save someone else the aggravation, do not use this institution. I needed a local Coop member to deposit a check into my out of state credit union. Family Advantage refused to accept the check for a number of reasons. I went to Liberty, and they were happy to take my business and everyone in that office was very nice. I have banking experience but by no means an expert. Still, Family Advantage is not an option.
