I was called by Realtor Imani Jones at 7pm. I had never met him before. He only gave his first name and did not say what company he worked for (I verified his number against the number posted on their website after the fact). And he asked me if I live on my [street] and I confirmed. And then he asked me if I wanted to sell. I said no. He pushed further and then told me he could offer me cash for my place. It seems extremely sketchy and potentially exploitative to be offering cash. I'm not in a precarious situation but my impression is that he was hoping I was and the offer of cash would be an incentive for me to sell for less.
Aside from which I was trying to put my toddler to bed. It was 7pm. No woman wants to be called by a man they don't know and immediately find this person got their number and address. When I asked how, he said from tax information. It is extremely disconcerting.
