Emily Ellis and her team are terrific. Emily has been a teammate and good friend since our basketball days at the University of Maine so I know her well. If you are working with Emily, you know you can trust her. When she gives you her word she stands by it. My new townhouse is a great size, nice location and very comfortable. I have been able to witness the Ellis Team Staff working and putting up more townhouses. Her staff, flat out works. I never see them taking a break, they are there at 6:30-6:45AM and Mike Woods the builder is onsite every day. I am excited for this new community in Bangor as I witness it being built, I love the colors as I look down the street.

I didn’t have much of an opinion on the Lancaster development until this, but I feel like I have to say something.
Team properties is facing pushback on Lancaster ave because they did a real estate deal to buy people’s backyards specifically in secret to prevent the people who live there from finding out and buying the land themselves. They openly admit that they deliberately hid the transaction from the folks who live there. And those people are understandably upset.
But to add insult to injury, Emily has placed a “hate has no home here” rainbow sign on the proposed build site. Co-opting the language and symbolism of a marginalized community’s civil rights battle in order to snipe at people who “hate” you for bulldozing their backyards is tacky and quite honestly, gross. Five people were shot and killed this weekend because of the very real hate whose coattails Team Properties are trying to ride. It’s not the same.
