We entered the home selling process in the Spring just as COVID-19 was taking hold and the stock market was crashing - a truly unique set of circumstances. Doug deftly navigated us through preparing our home for sale while waiting for the restrictions on home showings to be relaxed. We followed his guidance on several cosmetic updates to help attract buyers which I think were spot on.

Doug really excels at marketing. He prepared an extensive ‘coming soon’ campaign and website to build interest and opened our home for showings as the market rebounded. His photographer took extensive daytime and nighttime photos to showcase our home to best advantage. He arranged for a professional stager to add a contemporary flare to the house.

His sense of market timing was superb. Once the home showings reopened, we had a flurry of interested buyers tour the property, prepped by his ‘coming soon’ campaign and his outreach to other real estate agents.

On Doug’s advice, we set a due date for offers to encourage buyers to act, which was absolutely the right thing to do in this market. The negotiation process with our buyer was quick and painless, with a quick close and very few contingencies.
