About 30 years ago, we decided to engage a Tax Consultant to file State and Federal Taxes for us here in Santa Clara.
We have never regretted that decision.
Our first was a single person operation and we were well served, however service ended due to retirement but recommended we transfer to Diaz-Christian’s Tax Accountants, also in Santa Clara and to whom we applied.
They have done our taxes for at least seven years and even
managed to do a superior job as have been available for off season consultation’s regarding random family financial questions that have arisen.
Each year Diaz-Christian’s mail a booklet type questionnaire for the applicant to fill out. Contains a set of Yes/No questions along with a full set of sample of basic tax forms. In each section it shows what was filed the previous year which not only is a guide, it ensures we don’t miss anything as we enter the current information into the booklet as the applicable tax forms arrive in the mail.
As soon as we are able to match the previous year’s filings we simply make an appointment and return the booklet with the support documents,
This past Tax Year 2023, we handed in our package Feb 16, were called in to sign off returns on Feb 20, when Diaz-Christian’s electronically filed our returns for us. Feb 26 both tax refunds were electronically deposited in our checking account. That IS service !

Perspective from staff - unfortunately I wouldn't give this company a single dime . The way Sharon treats her employees has no respect and takes advantage of her authority is disgusting . We were intensely worked and intense training which is very hard as is, but then you have an accountant walking in telling her employees " do you know who I am" aggressively- without ever introducing herself and went ballistic over a appointment that was urgent that I tried to kindly schedule for a client. Get you the client only had specific days she could do and Sharon pushed me to book her asap. I did my job exactly how I was told to. But because she's lazy and doesn't wanna book outside of her one in a half hour a day- she blew up. Which get you I never even booked anything outside her requested date- it was a suggestion from THE CLIENT. Managment puts herself before her clients needs- you would be nothing without your staff or customers. This arrogant woman thinks so highly of herself she's too good to run business properly aggressively getting into my face like a rabid dog.

On top of that various people told me to never ever speak Spanish because both upper management hates and banned them from using spanish. Pretty racist to me especially because we're diverse in Silicon Valley with all races.

I walked out after interacting with Sharon. The training is beyond overwhelming and brutal- worked 10 years for high end clients and never experienced such distress in a work environment like here. I handled my work load very well and did great for them- but it's management who made me walk out. I am not the issue- as they asked me to stay. Says a lot about my commitment respect and morality.

How can you trust a company who doesn't respect their own employees , who talks down to their employees? While the remainder of managment sits back and allows this to happen! This is a lawsuit waiting to happen for someone else down the line they hire- this is harassment and abuse- I've seen people crying, people quit, and people absolutely drained. There is no morality here you are better off at H&R Block. It's disgusting what I witnessed. No ethics or respect, no trust, greed and ruthless. Take emotion outside of the situation Sharon- your clients and workers are the reason you have a roof over your head and feed your family
