I strongly suggest using ANYONE else. Went to Delta Oct of 2024 Nov not sure what happened but no payment was taken out, we have auto pay set up so I have never needed to be involved. Come December I get something from car loan company and I called Delta right away, 3 days in a row I called and left voicemails. Finally an extremely rude lady calls back. Completely wrong card on file, so of course a payment wouldn't go through, instead of calling they just canceled. Although my December payment wasn't yet due, when she said she would fix it, she took both payments, Nov and Dec. I had to call back, I didn't have the money then, I'm on SS Disability and have limited funds, but she said "Not my problem" and hung up on me. but not much i can do, So go on, I think it is all taken care of. I get a letter, in October, the normal $230 payment is now $460. So I called, a man answers the phone, I explained and I also stated there is a balance on the statement and if you do the math, it seems like there are two payments being taken out for Jan plus I have am underpayment fee and an installment fee. He wouldn't look into it, he wouldn't do the math of the balance to months left, he just kept saying he wants to requote me and no matter how many times I said no, he would say it again. I asked for the owner and Guy said hold on, and bad mouths me, while I can hear ALL OF IT! Owner gets on the phone and I said, I heard everything that man just said, he shouldn't talk that way but should put someone on hold before doing it that was horrible and completely untrue, I don't was a requote. She kind of laughed and said lets see what is going on. I explained it, she pulls everything up and agrees, the Math is not correct, something isn't right. She has to look things up, and from there calls me back as well as wrote me an email. Tells me I never paid Oct and so I've been behind since day one in Oct. I said no, it was paid, she tells me over and over she doesn't trust me, and I am lying and I need to show proof, which while being told that I emailed my bank statement, showing I made the payment in Oct. She tells me she only sees Dec and just keeps talking over when I am asking for her to look below dec and see Oct payment. She was extremely rude the entire time and keeps implying that I'm lying. She then hangs up on me. She emailed and said she spoke to the company and in 72 hours they will respond. I ended up calling the insurance company and 32 mins on the phone find out her office lady in December couldn't do math correctly and charged me the wrong amount so I have been in default of full payment since December, luckily the system didn't catch it and cancel my insurance but that is why I keep paying the fee and the underpayment charges. She also stated there NEVER was a question of if I had paid my October bill, EVER. She then tells me they should have communicated and she had never heard of a broker not reaching out when there are small glitches like a card not processing or declining. The agent then sent me to the Department of Insurance, which I have already started a claim with them, and she helped me find another broker.
Not once but 2 times they put my insurance in jeopardy. The owner has never apologized for the actions of her and her employees. I keep records of everything and have statements at a moments notice, to be called a liar over and over and talked down to the way I was, as if I wasn't covering the payment or fees, is absurd. I even gave the owner a chance and said could you please just talk to me, but she only let me get out please before cutting me off again and being rude. She hung up the phone on me more times than I can count. Its just unreal how they treat their clients. Don't give them your money or your business.
