We were upfront from the beginning that we had our doubts that we’d qualify for a home, but they were always positive and encouraging. They referred us to a lender and we got the ball rolling. And yes, at our price point, the pickings were slim, but we were fortunate to find a home that was For Sale by Owner in our price range. Some Realtors may not have wanted to work with us in that situation knowing there’d be extra work without a seller’s agent, but David agreed to help. Even though we kept thinking the deal was gonna fall through every time we came across an obstacle, we would just let David and his team know our concerns, and they would come back with a timely, positive, reassuring and calm response.
