LIke others have said if 0 stars was an option that is what I would choose. This is the second time now me and my husband have applied to one of their properties. Both times have been a disaster. The first time, we were moving from out of state and spent at least a solid week going back and forth with the property manager about proof of income. They kept asking for this and that documentation with the understanding that it would be the final piece to the puzzle. After wasting all this time with the assumption we had a place to live lined up they dropped us saying our income wasn't sufficient and refused to look at our tax returns or my husband's w-2 for proof. This time I didn't even realize it was the same company until after we had started the application process. We went in being up front about our situation and telling the property manager at this new community about our struggles before. She assured us we would be fine and even offered a solution. But just like the last time we didn't have cookie cutter proof of income and she called telling me we didn't income qualify for the property. My emotions got the best of me and I hung up on her very abruptly. I later sent a message asking if a copy of his handbook would show enough proof. She said we could try and told me to email it. I responded asking which email address to send it to just to verify the email address I had previously received communication through was correct. She didn't respond until 6:30 the following morning. I worked all day that day so I wasn't able to respond or send the handbook. I logged back into my application this morning to find my application had been cancelled. No notification that it was being cancelled. I tried to reach out to the text message line that we had been communicating through with no response. I also called the main office to find that they are closed today. Their call center doesn't even know if they are closed or just have the phones turned over. All she could do was take a message. Cushman and Wakefield needs to realize there are several pay structures throughout different companies and to write someone off because their weekly pay stub doesn't reflect what their w-2 or tax return does is asinine. Or refusing to look at tax returns or w-2s as proof of income for someone other than a self-employed person is asinine as well.

I applied for the Artisan Living Greene Creek on saturday, April 16th. Monday I called in to inqire about the process and learn more about the property. I called both offices and Was sent to voicemail everytime. Tuesday, I called both properties, and still no response or answer, I emailed as well. Wednesday I decieded to drive from Asheville to south carolina to try and get someone in the office. When I got there a resident informed me the office staff is never there , and to maybe try the other location. I drove to the spartanburg location to find a note on the door informing people to email Amanda and she would respond back within the day. Of course I emailed, and nothing. I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. I should not have to chase down your team about a property.

Terrible service. If zero stars were an option, that would've been my selection. They are successful because they have money and make money. It's certainly not how they treat people. Don't rent from any of their beautiful properties unless you want to leave with a zero balance and and email bill 6mos later for $650. Don't even bother to leave a message. Zero stars.

I have only lived here two months and this is the worst renting experience I have ever had! The countless things that have happened since before I moved in until now just surprises me. The staff doesn’t care at all. They avoid calls and push off the issues. Please avoid if possible.

I would not suggest living at any of their communities unless you want your security deposit to be held for over 2 months after you move out and not have anyone in any particular hurry to contact you even after submitting 4 contact requests regarding this particular legal matter.

I visited the property at Fountain inn and I loved it, I wanted to apply and I was not approved because I applied with a passport, I make 5x more than rent, I have 4 years of work in the same company, I have a letter of employment from the company, regular weekly payments at my account, I'm in the middle of an immigration process and yet this company has a very discriminatory application process.
