Because of our family situation we had some very specific needs when searching for a house which limited our search in some ways. Doris did a fantastic job of finding properties that matched what we were looking for, and she was always available to show us places that we were interested in (on the off chance that she couldn't make a showing, Andrew and Aaron were always there and were extremely helpful). Doris was also an invaluable resource for ideas on how to make a house suit our needs, and she was always straightforward and honest with us, which made us feel like she had our best interests in mind at all times.

Being first time home buyers, we were pretty naive about everything going into our search, and Doris was always extremely patient in explaining every step of the process to us. She not only walked us through the process, but she also put us in touch with our mortgage broker, multiple insurance agents, inspectors, contractors, and several other service providers. She made the entire process easy for us and much less stressful than it could've been. She was also great about negotiating on our behalf. When we got to the closing table the title agent was surprised at the concessions that Doris was able to negotiate and the loan terms that we were receiving.

As long as I'm in New Orleans, I'll never work with another agent or brokerage. I recommend Doris and the rest of the Crane team the strongest possible terms!
