Just an idea/ suggestion but maybe add a guest wifi for the people that are looking to get an insurance of sort, then gets asked for a last minute information that requires an internet connection. I understand that it might be a company policy or whatever it is, but for last minute requirements, it MIGHT be huge for customers that needs it in the moment. Understand that some spots in our community doesn’t have that strong signal including around this insurance place.

My insurance at the beginning was 240 dollars, and the insurance after the year was 371 Canadian dollars.

Updating - the claims process was very professional and the contractors used were amazing. Chad and his staff were helpful with any questions. My basement is beautiful.

Amazing to deal with. My basement flooded today, and within 3 hrs the area was stripped and fans were going. Very thankful the staff had made sure I had proper water coverage when we created my policy.

I had an issue of policy cancellation due to some failure in the mailing process between The Co-operators and my address. I'm not happy about the effects this caused or the tension it created. However, I appreciate the fact that Chad took the time to contact me and explain things from his perspective. I'm going to continue to be a customer but I hope they'll consider using email for renewal invoices rather than trusting just snail mail.

Jennifer and Chad are fantastic! Chad helped us set up our life insurance a few years ago so I went back to his office for my home and auto insurance. Despite the increase in rates across the province Jennifer got us excellent coverage for an extremely fair price. She took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions.

I have been trying to contact them since March 15th to cancel insurance on one of my vehicles and up date my information as I have moved . I I got an email saying they tried my landline (which I haven’t had for six years) said I and my cell went to voice mail. Well they did call me once I leave messages everyday lol waiting for a reply… I have gone to the office never anyone there thanks Covid I suppose I have left notes under the door but no response … however they do manage to take my payments every month. . I have been with cooperators for 50 years never had a claim and this is how I get treated …not impressed. Apparently they have moved the office very far from where I live but I am going there on Tuesday. I hope someone actually will be in unless they just have a location for show

Have a commercial policy in the range of 10K annually. Can't get a call back or an email back. They never respond to renewal questions, possibly because they think that stops you from shopping around (?). They add coverages to the renewal without your consent to see if you won't notice, they don't advise you on basic policy errors that they could use to deny your claim, they won't correct the errors you notice in a timely fashion (to extend the amount of time your claims can be denied), they try not to give a breakdown of costs by line item (no transparency) and when they do, it doesn't match the quotes they provide. They seem to be ignorant of some basic elements of insurance.

Hard to think of any "professional" services that could provide worse treatment. Would give zero stars if possible.
