Waited at the drive through for about 10 minutes, finally called someone and they told me I need to be patient because they are busy inside. Clearly don’t know how to delegate and take care of all of their customers. Made me late for my daughter meeting for school when I got there in plenty of time as I waited over 20 minutes to be helped. When it was Rockford Bell Credit Union, I never waited more than a couple of minutes for service. Complete downgrade on the customer service end of things.

I would give one person that works there a negative amount of stars.
I have been a customer for years and have never delt with anyone there in such a negative way.
This lovely lady has made comments to me about depositing so many checks, she wished she had money like that …that she could sit on checks and not need to cash them.
A comment NO EMPLOYEE needs to make to a CUSTOMER!
Then held me up for more than 15 minutes while she conversed with another employee about whether or not the signatures matched from payroll check to payroll check.
I am the owner and the only signer on the account.
None of my employees had any issues cashing their checks.
Please understand that you work for the customer!!
You should have deposited my checks like a good employee would have done not have personal opinions bout customers personal life.
I will be closing my account.
Off to Green State Credit Union!!!!!!

I was trying to get a loan and they needed a mortgage verification letter. Rockford bell credit union blocked the loan companies email & they quit responding to me so thanks to them I was unable to get the loan.

UPDATE: I have now heard a horror story from another person close to me about this place and I can honestly say the way they were treated by me when they copped an attitude was 100% justified and closing my account was the absolute 100% best decision I have made all year.

TL;DR: If you had to get a license to work in customer service, these people would not get one. They are the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I say this as someone who works a desk job himself and will usually bend over backwards to the point of inconveniencing myself just to make a fellow service worker’s day better. These people though? BAD. ENERGY. 100%. And they are now closed on Saturdays.

I wonder why.

Telling me that I “sound like I am in a better place today” when you call to say that the account that should have been closed two weeks ago was finally closed is a no-no in customer service. What would possess an individual to say that? All I know is that y’all were mighty lucky that check had not cleared yet because if it had, I would have gone into ORBIT.

Long story short: if you’re banking here or are a sadist and considering it, just buy a nice mattress (if this place lets you. Big if, by the way) and put your money under it. It’s in better hands there than with these bozos. 🤡

Went into the credit union today to exchange a roll of quarters for a $10 bill and asked about opening up an account. The teller told me she cannot take in any quarters due to the "Patriot Act." There is no such clause in The Patriot Act saying you cannot exchange money. Not to mention they were pretty rude and snobby. Not only did they not get my business, but I went next door to Northwest Bank and they were more than welcoming.

I have had several auto loans with them since 2017 and never had any issues. They have always been polite, helpful and friendly. Their rates are always the best and have been really good whenever I have purchased a vehicle from a dealership, and made sure everything was perfect.

They get a negative 5!
I have been with RBCU since I was 13 so over 30 years. They have gone from being a family friendly, family focused group to a group of rude, disengaged group. I have kept my account with them in spite of not living in Rockford. I have had 5 of my 6 car loans through them. I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!

SO RUDE AND UNAPOLOGETIC!
