When I began my process of looking for a home, I knew I would need someone who was patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. Maureen exceeded ALL of my expectations and hopes for not only an agent, but a person who truly cared for my needs and wants. Maureen answered all of my questions, cared for my issues/concerns and essentially took all my worries away with this process. She worked around my schedule, life issues, and my anxieties. I leased a home in Travelers Rest from Coldwell Banker, specifically from Jessica Boggs, and had a terrible experience.

Upon my move out, Jessica remarked on how clean the home was and the work we put in to get the home to a great place. During the final inspection the only items called out were some drawers that needed to be wiped down, a few hedges I did not trim in the backyard and 3 missing lightbulbs.

26 days later and I still do not have my security deposit back and when I asked, I was told the carpets had to be recleaned due to some pet odor. The carpets were already professionally cleaned before my move out and this was not called out during the inspection or in the 3 weeks that followed. In fact Jessica even remarked at how good the carpets looked during the inspection.

The whole point of the move out inspection, and the obligation to allow the tenant to be present, is to ensure things like this do not happen and tenants are not charged for these kind of speculative things. But Coldwell Banker is unbelievably shady in how they do business and waited 26 days to let me know. I would not recommend anyone use their services if it can be avoided.

Some other issues I had:

- An old sandbox in the backyard, which was there upon my move in, was infested with copperhead snakes and my lawn services refused to continue to mow. When I contacted Jessica, she told me this would be my responsibility to pay to remove. I had no choice but to pay to get something removed from the home that was not mine and presented a serious health and safety risk.

- The air quality in the house was terrible and was causing severe skin issues for my partner and myself. The previous tenants resorted to putting filters over every air return to help. When I brought this up to Jessica, she told me that it is common for people to do this to block the air from coming out - even though I found vent filters in the closet from the last tenants. It took a month or more of back and forth to get a cheap service to come out and do the duct cleaning. They had multiple providers come out and of course they went with the cheapest and worst option.

In person Jessica seemed nice and respectful, but at every opportunity her and her company have looked for any reason to charge me and push normal expenses back on to me.

Avoid at all costs!!

Elizabeth Foster Clarke was so easy to work with! She was accommodating with our busy work schedules and always got us in to showings as soon as we asked. She was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the market, pricing trends, and all things real-estate. Elizabeth could confidently answer any questions we had and offered us great advice throughout the whole process of buying our new home and selling our current. She made a normally stressful process fun and smooth. Elizabeth has all the qualities we had hoped for in a relator and friend - she's honest and prioritized our best interests, she is reliable and well-organized, and she is friendly and personable. She also has a strong network and was able to connect us with inspectors, lenders, attorneys, contractors, staging professionals, and any service we potentially needed. I couldn't imagine buying or selling another home again without the help of Elizabeth! We are so grateful for her!

Angela has done a phenomenal job for our family throughout the buying process. We relocated to the Greenville area because of my job and it has made it difficult for us to be in-person for a lot of the steps in the relocation journey. Angela has helped bridge that gap in every way possible. She has helped from proactive communications of new and existing listings all the way through helping communicate our needs, concerns, and questions with the builder we ultimately decided on. Even through the blue taping and following the build process, Angela was more than happy to help us with video calls, phone calls, and taking ample pictures for us to stay connected to our new home.
