My brother and I worked with Christina and Karla to sell our parent's home in Corte Madera. From the beginning, they were enthusiastic and positive about our old house. It was in very good condition, but a bit dated.

Their recommendations to get the best sale price gave us the best bang for our buck. We had consulted with another agent who suggested refinishing floors. Instead of doing that Christina and Karla suggested remodeling the kitchen. The master bath was very dark and dated. A remodel of that was their suggestion. And they recommended repainting exterior. We were very happy that they wanted to keep some of the beautiful wood features in the house vs painting everything white. We didn't always agree/like all their suggestions, but we soon were convinced to go their way.

The contractors they use are very affordable, capable and reliable. The changes to the home were on schedule after the estate sale. They oversaw everything and communicated with us on a regular basis via text, email and phone calls. They were supportive of our desired listing price, which was over their suggestion, but kept it below a key MLS search threshold.

Their was a lot of interest in the house! They followed up with buyer realtors and gave us feedback from potential buyers. The property was only on the market for 4 days before we had an offer over listing price. Because the house was modernized in the critical areas - kitchen and bath - is likely a big reason why we got that offer. I highly recommend Christina and Karla and Home in Marin!
