I have NEVER had such a bad experience in my life. I turned in my information to them during covid and couldn't have a face to face meeting but when I gave my information I explained that I had a lot of médical deductions for my husband and I and I needed every deduction possible. I was assured she would call me. It took one month and I contacted them. She never called me, she never used any deductions or asked me about for example student loans or the large amount my husband and I have every month for insurance or medical deductions . Nothing..There were so many other deductions that could have been taken but I simply got my papers back and ended up owing or was getting a tiny amt of a refund. Then I had some past years taxes done with which the irs. contacted me and said they couldn't go more than 2 years old on. AS A TAX PROFESSIONAL SHE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT. BUT SHE CHARGED ME ANYWAY...I Then got contacted again by the irs stating that they didn't receive 2 forms they needed to process my taxes...I had to send them in myself because when I called them about it, they just acted like oh well. They said she gave me all the deductions. She NEVER even thought of calling me when she was working on my taxes but blamed COVID for the reason. Last I heard, you can't get covid over the phone. I didn't get deductions for médical or doctors in which it equalled into the thousands. Or what was paid out monthly for medical bills and the list of possible deductions goes on and on. We had discussed this before but I was never asked about the 1,200 paid into student loans for the year or interest paid. You can deduct mileage as a nurse that travels and I actually had to call her and ask her to do that when she told me I was going to owe. I asked her did you take off for this or that. No...Then when I had to force her to simply do what I was paying her for she acted annoyed...That was the one I wasn't able to even claim because it was over the time limit. If you choose to go there fine but beware she doesn't go out of her way to try to find you deductions that a true tax professional should know. You will be better of using Turbo Tax and getting all your deductions.
