the Century 21 office in Bangor, Maine is the worst possible century 21 office that has ever existed. Century 21 is generally a very reputable company However, I attempted to purchase a home at 26 5 Avenue in Bangor Main from Karen Burns a real estate agent associated with Century 21 in Bangor, Maine, I have placed $3000 deposit in three $1000 postal money orders several days before the closing of the Bangor Maine police forcibly evicted me from the hotel, which I was staying at ,the home was to sale for $365,000 at the time the Bangor Maine police came in forcibly effectively I later found out that this was some type of attempts by Mrs. Burns to increase the price of the property. I believe Mrs. Burns to be acting in a reputable matter, and should be severely reprimanded and her real estate license should be revoked…

My review is on their agent David Caliendo. I cannot give a review on the whole company, which is why I gave two stars and not one. I would give David Caliendo one.

He is very hard to get a hold of. We had tried to contact him ourselves to use him personally and he never contacted us back. Then we had to work with him because he was the selling agent for a house we were under contract for. He was very very very hard to get any answers from. Hid issues about the house from us, very unclear with info. The house we got didn't have the heat on and the furnace was completely broken, which he knew and failed to mention. We directly asked him about this. He must have known because the house had been under contract 2 times previous to us in the past 5 months, with inspections done. They too pulled out since the heating system was completely shot.

When we realized the true nature of the house and he had hidden the house's condition, we pulled out of the house. We were 100% within out earnest money deadline (close, but within it), but since he was so unorganized and not on top of things, he didn't do his part. He then claimed that he doesn't have to give our earnest money back. Our agent and company were very unhappy with him. I would not recommend him to anyone. I literally can not say one good professional thing about our experience dealing with him.
