I want to start out by saying I have NEVER left a review of any kind in my life but the Carolina Trace Gated Properties is a definite exception. I will say that the sincerity that was expressed in the beginning of our relationship seemed genuine, key word seemed. With the rental of my house that they managed and the ultimate sale of that house I can honestly and equivocally exclaim that it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my 65 years. If and when they would communicate it was on average 95% or greater by text. I reached out to them on more occasions than I can count with dismal success and with much frustration. I felt that since they were located inside of Carolina Trace that they were my best option. Note to self and all that read this review BAD decision. The family that operates and is all about this business in my experience was never focused on my satisfaction or my best interest. I can say unfortunately that it has been a very hard lesson recognizing my stupidity and being gullible that I deal with and a day doesn’t go by that I don’t live with my regrets. There are too many personal details that took place I am omitting for this review. For it to be the only one I have ever expressed in my many years despite dealing with other life disappointments along the way all I can say is RECONSIDER SERIOUSLY having any type of relationship with this enterprise. I hope I can save at least one individual the headache heartache and stress of any type of involvement with Carolina Trace Gated Properties otherwise best of luck you’re going to need it.

I have never dealt with such incompetence and unprofessionalism. First off, they outsource their answering service to people who do not speak English proficiently. Secondly, I’ve been inquiring about a rental home for the past 3 months, and no one has responded. I’m an urban planner and my husband is a rank of 0-5. This company disservices the military, and in general, potential renters.

For being as expensive as they are as a property management company, their attention to their client needs and attention to detail are severely lacking. No returned phone calls, not being kept up to date on changes, and a lot of passing the buck.

It's beautiful to drive into, but that's about it. I moved to CT Winter 2017, as a tenant in a nice house on Traceway North. I find that anyone can call the gate, tell them a lot #, with the correct last name and call in a pass for anyone. Once a guest is called in, they can roam the Trace anywhere they please, so what does that mean you ask? A gated community gives false sense of security when anyone can get past the gate. People feel safe here, but what they dont understand is that truly it WILL BE a stranger @ your door if you didnt call in a guest.

I was stuck on the hill from the snow last year, because the Traceway was not plowed (the plow was new, sat in front of a truck, only to have a brake issue when the snow melted). I have been stuck in the mud by the fire tower emergency exit because it is not maintained. I still have yet to find one of the other emergency exits.

Carolina Trace Gated Properties was absolutely a great experience for me, they helped secure my rental, although the agent I worked with did not know alot about the property, for example, did the fireplace work. I had to pay for that out of pocket to be reimbursed, but I think they should have arranged that. However, no complaints on them, they answered the phone when I needed them to. Beyond that, no need to be in touch, beyond bi annual inspection of the property.

CTGP has no affiliation with the Country Club, I dont believe. Just be prepared to play by the guidelines and be prepared to have water outages and/or boil alerts frequently. All in all, I loved it here, but am glad to be on my way out of the control of others.

Very nice to live here although they need 2 more guarded entrances. One north one south. Update: they since added both of the entrances i was wishing for!! Its a dream to live here now!

Lived here for less than a month now and the gate house is very unprofessional and rude, tried ordering food multiple times and they’ve given the delivery people a hard time about delivering saying they need a sticker, only one place in town has one and they don’t even have a way of notifying customers, called to the gate to ask about this and have been told that’s it’s not in writing that they don’t allow delivery vehicles but they enforce it as a rule/law, then proceed to argue and get nasty with me, it’s a huge inconvenience and makes delivery almost useless, very disappointing this is what my monthly fees go to, do not suggest buying here if you like privacy or having a good amount of get togethers through a year as they need to know about everyone you have come in and give them a hard time once they arrive
